Mcdonald's Chilli On Top

As you may know by now, reviewing these large franchised corporations is just a waste in my opinion. They don't care about you, quality, service or so i have been saying for years. But then there's Stanley now we'll get to him real soon but just so you know he is the manager at this specific mcdonalds and from here on he will be referred to as "Stan the Man"

So a little background, I have this awesome game I love playing whenever I visit a McDonalds with a McCafe, it's called "order a frappe and watch them struggle" and I swear I am the champion. Every single time I order a frappe I get something different, this time after about 10mins and 3 staff members I recieved a nice iced latte. Now it's not a problem, i enjoy most of the McCafe menu but it worries me that the staff are not trained properly.

In any case let's get back to Stan the Man , as I sit there enjoying my NOT a FRAPPE, I am in quite a happy mood, the styling in the place is so awesome, and the song they were playing ( how much is that doggy in the window ) made me feel really nostalgic in a good way. So anyway I am approached by Stan the Man who is really friendly and has acknowledged the mistake made by the staff, we have a really quick chat about the McCafe and staff being new and we laugh about my game, and then he does something that shocks the socks off of me, he asks me to explain what a frappe is and what I actually wanted. I mean I've been to more than 10 other McDonalds and everytime i explain that my order is wrong i get an excuse or an apology but never before the willigness to learn. about 10mins later I was given a frappe that was probably the best frappe ever made. I mean it was like Stan the Man went back and fetched me a frappe from the heavens.

Now the truth is you are normally going to get the same quality at all these franchises and we all know what McDonald's tastes like so it makes no sense reviewing the food. But service is something that will keep me returning and Stan the Man went further than his call of duty to make sure I recieved what I wanted and I take my hat off to that man.

A new addition to the 'hood. Obviously had to check it out 🙂. Standard, modern decor, tons of staff, quick service, not too busy, lots of seats, consistent... Just the way we like it. Love their breakfast options, Cajun chicken burgers and fries. Good for a quick meal on the go.
