I've taken my niece there 3 years in a row for her birthday, she's 10 this year. She's always gotten free ice cream as a treat for her special day. We were rather disappointed as our waiter Natasha told us management no longer allows that. Too because as that's one of the extras that make Trumps special. Their mint lemonade freezo is delicious. We had the beef ribs, beef burgers, wings and chips which. were excellent as always & worth the price.

Good service, food was good too, nothing to write home about but good nonetheless. Rather a noisy environment which could make conversations challenging with tables over 4 people. I would go back but if only after trying some of the alternatives in the area.

Pork ribs(bbq sauce) and prawns combo is a winner. Juicy and tender. Although the prawns where a but over cooked bit still enjoyed it. I had half spinach and pumpkin for sides. Liked the spinach waaay more. Excellent service. Would recommend this.

Trumps has a reputation for their steak and services and thats what brought us there.
Each one of us ordered a different part of steak: T-bone, rump and sirloin. All were cooked to perfection: medium-rare. Delectably juicy, and tender. Although having already tasted excellent steak at Turn n Tender and Joses Tavern and Oyster Bar - its was not entirely mind blowing.
Decor was fanciful, waitress was attentive - great spot for business meetings.

All round superb restaurant. Definitely my go to steak house in Joburg. My favorite is the 700g T-bone 😍 impossible to finish , but super delicious. They also offer amazing starters and cocktails, my favorite is the mango daiquiri!
