The food (burgers) was amazing! You definitely get value for money, yes it's a bit more to the expensive side, but worth every cent! The service was fast, friendly and just on point! The kitchen was exceptionally fast and every order was spot on! I literally couldn't complain about anything (not even my fussy boyfriend could). Maybe the tables outside were a bit too close together, but I know it's probably only because the restaurant is so popular! Plus, everyone likes to sit outside at the Waterfront.
Over all, I really recommend this place to anyone who likes a full plate! And the options on the menu is absolutely great - there's something for every tastebud.
If you're seriously hungry, then this is the place!

I am a local and have been residing in Cape Town for all my life... I don’t know why it’s taken me this long to decide to try it out!!! I love all the options and it’s an awesome family environment.
I tried the Onion Blossom burger that was perfectly cooked and the fries are to die for��. Although I do not have a sweet tooth, the selection of shakes is great!!! �
Friendly staff makes for a great vibe too, Definitely will be coming back to try out the rest of the menu!
Surpisingly spectacularly! I knew I was in for a treat when I saw a line outside the restaurant. The hostess was extremely friendly and the staff were attentive and knew the menu backwards.
It's a Burger and Rib joint, so you want to see if they can back it up. Needless to say, a delicious burger with a caramelized onion sauce that will have you licking your lips arrived.
The decor is a bit on the high end. You dont feel like you're in burger joint. The pricing is perfect and doesn't make you feel like you're being taken for a ride.

Always love coming here. Too many delicious milkshakes to choose from! Even on busy weekends the service is good. Had a problem with one of the waitresses once but the manager was very apologetic and professional in helping us
Great food. The patties were fresh and juicy. We had ours medium rare. Their fries are thick and crispy on the outside whilst soft on the inside. Absolutely delicious food. I’d recommend this place!

The burgers are really good. The lamb ribs are some of the best I have tested ever. All around a good place. It can get really busy. Often you have to wait for a table.
We tried the chicken burgers. The crumbed burgers were disappointing so I wouldn't recommend those but the pineapple and atchar one was fantastic. A huge selection of milkshakes which is always a hit! Salted chocolate was delectable.

Finger-lickin burgers by the waterfront, for sure. I had the sliders which include the cheese burger, avocado, classic combination. Generous portions!! Paired it with apple cider for a refreshing finish on summer nights.
Really yummy food with an ocean view. I found the table settings and general ambience outside a little lacking and the sea gulls were a bit aggressive. That said their food was tasty and if you happen to be a milkshake lover then this is the place for you as they have over 100 flavors.
Went to gibson’s on a friday evening, they were very busy but we waited about 15 minutes at the bar and then we were seated outside. Skipped lunch as i was so excited for supper. I had the gorgonzola burger with bacon. Soooo tasty😍 Will definitely be back to try their milkshakes. It was my bf’s birthday and the waiter made an effort to organize a happy birthday ice-cream plate which definitely added to the evening.
We went to Gibsons for a milkshake and burger! They had over 100 flavours to choose from! The waitress was lovely and patient letting us read through them all until we decided on a flavour. The milkshakes were delicious and the burgers are flavoursome and fresh. Highly recommend, beautiful view as well while you eat.

The best place to satisfy your treat needs. A delicious endless array of milkshakes to die for (order a small as they are massive!) And very tasty burgers and chips. Highly recommend! Go hungry.
Had a lovely lunch at GIBSONS - the manageress was on top form from greeting to table. I had a small issue and she sorted it out without any issues. Lovely lady but unfortunately I didn’t catch her name, so the lady on duty today at 2pm your a Rock Star! Enjoyed our burgers as usual and Milkshakes are always a win the best selection in Cape Town. The burger patty is old school flame grilled it reminds me of burgers in my youth. I’m still yet to try the rib but every time I come here I do a burger. Next time for-sure.
They have an incredible selection of burgers! They were tasty juicy and yummy! Sitting outside, you have a great view of Table Mountain - an added plus.

Imrann is an incredible waiter! The restaurant was super busy with a tour group, marathon runners, and more. Imrann was quick, funny, and helpful. The Fillet was cooked to perfection! Others loved the burgers and line fish.
