In addition to being really tasty, the food portions were UBER generous. Definitely going back.
The service is excellent and the food is outstanding , coming to this V&V won't be something to regret but to remember for a very long time.
My boyfriend and I had our date night here :)I had the ribs & chips and my boyfriend a lamb burger. We enjoyed both meals. Food was cooked brilliantly.It is a bit pricey though and some of the food portions are quite small.They don't close until after 11pm which worked well for us.|I will definitely visit this restaurant again.
Popped in for some mocktails. The staff were so friendly, they didn't seem to mind that we weren't eating there. I really liked the cool decor and the cake looked good. Great service and a nice place. Didn't eat but the food seemed reasonably priced.
Set in the actual Gold Reef City Casino itself the restaurant is large and welcoming. Quite a different layout and decor and huge abacus's to play with in the entrance :) Menu is extensive, we both chose burgers - mine beef with avocado and my dining partner the chicken burger - also with avo. The fries were lukewarm - but tasty and the service was good. Would visit again if at the casino but not something I would drive to specifically.

The only thing I could possibly complain about is the pizza from this restaurant. Everything else is absolutely wonderful. While you eat you have a spectacular view of the casino floor where you can watch people play slots. The restaurant serves their food reasonably quickly and I am yet to be disappointed by anything other than their pizza which I belive is not up to standard. If you are a tea lover consider trying the Italian almond tea - it is to die for.
Vigour And Verve is definitely one of the better looking restaurants at Gold Reef City. It is very well lit and bright which is a nice break from the dim casino. The iced coffees are the perfect drink if you want to relax and have a bite to eat (although we did find the iced café americano unnecessarily sweet).
The food was delicious with the exception of the Meat Lovers pizza which was heavy and didn't seem particularly fresh but luckily this was a special so it is not on the menu. The Famous Pulled Lamb sandwich was spicy and hearty and I really like that they have such a large selection of breads for you to choose from.
The service was on the slow side but the restaurant was full and the waiting staff were never just standing around, our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu but kept touching my back when she asked about the food and I really didn't like that.

I'm not a vegetarian, but love veggies - I had the most delicious, tasty veggie burger from here and the homemade chips were sofluffy soft! I love Eating good food woth great flavour and I never regret going here. Wish I had more space I'd like to try some dessert tooo....
Really had a good time at Calisto's. We had a family lunch (9 people). The service was extremely friendly, Primrose was our waitress and she was very helpful and very friendly. The food was very good and tasteful, they serve quality meals. They have a nice play area for kids where they have a lady watching to make sure they are safe, she seems to be very good with children and get them to connect with each other a bit to play together. Definitely a highly recommend restaurant.
Can’t fault the restaurant on anything first time and I am happy . Definitely going to be my new favourite spot

Really good experience at Calistos. Food was good, service was exceptional. Ordered the chicken livers and the sardines - both very good and nice sized portions
We hadn't been to Calisto's for quite a while and decided to treat ourselves. We both had starters of sticky BBQ wings followed by the prawn special of 10 medium prawns. Finished off with chocolate mousse and cappuccino with cream. Service was excellent and when our waiter Diego was busy we were helped by other waiters who came to ensure that we were attended to promptly. Food arrived hot and may have remained hot longer had it been on good old fashioned hot plates, but that would be my only complaint
