One of the best if not the best Portuguese restaurants I have eaten at. The prawns were amazing. I had heard about Calistos from various people but never visited - I have certainly been missing out all these years. Exceeded all expectations.

Celebrated a birthday recently at Calistos in Gillview and it was the most incredible experience. The service was impeccable and the food, top tier. The manager Lee was so helpful and ensured we were well taken care of. The guests were beyond impressed and will definitely keep Calistos on the top of
Great food, complemented by great company. Happy atmosphere, helpful staff. We were seated in the outdoor fireplace area which was surprisingly warm. Delicious platters bursting with flavor. No long wait in between orders.
The food is absolutely great and reasonably priced. They also have some great specials for those on a tight budget. Service is excellent. My waiter Zandile/Zanele (didn't hear her clearly because of the mask) was also really attentive and gave us great recommendations.
Just love this restaurant, the food, service and atmosphere is awesome! They never disappoint no matter what dish you have. Definitely recommend them 👌
