Well situated as it is, at entrance 1 of the shopping centre, this trendy little coffee shop probably does a lot of coffee to go business, but don't let that dissuade you from having a seat at one of the tables provided within or just outside its doors. Our small party was well taken care of by the friendly and accommodating staff. I didn't try any of the artisanal coffees, but I will on a return visit. Food was quick to arrive and was tasty enough. To me, if a cafe has a small menu, the food must be well executed and deliver a little more than what is written up. It's the little details that will set you apart from everyone else. What we enjoyed was the standard sort of fare, nothing more or less.

It's a great spot, the best cappuccino I've had in a long time! My favorite part of the pastrami bagel was its generous filling, it was delicious.
I was also really pleased and impressed with the fast Wi-Fi.

There is no better escape than Brewtown.
A beautiful interior and uplifting music transport me to another world.
A warm and welcoming atmosphere is created by the owner, David and his staff are some the friendliest I have ever encountered.
My favorite is always the Freezo, which is incredibly decadent and delicious, and the chicken bagel is simply the best.
Brewtown's super fast and free Wi-Fi makes it an ideal place to work, especially during loadshedding.
It is always a pleasure to visit Brewtown.

10 Stars! Brewtown is such a unique and truly beautiful space. So different from the usual and boring options. I loved the vibe, so chilled. The music and decor made me feel at home. The coffee!!! Wow, smooth, silky, strong and delicious. The new owner is charming and delightful. I truly enjoyed the scrumptious cheese, tomato and pesto bagel. I find myself craving not only the best coffee in town, but the ease and comfort Brewtown offers. I want to move in!!! Keep up the fantastic work!!!

Ordered a Coffee Freezo then noticed that is was being made with milk. I then requested no more milk be added and to use water instead. The owner rudely suggested that I should have ordered it without milk and that everywhere it is made with milk (no not really) did not offer to make me another one without milk I’m vegan so it landed in the bin menu does not state “different made with milk coffee freezo milkshake” such a disappointment wont go back service is all about attitude

This place has the X factor for me. I can't place what it was about the place. Maybe it's the friendly staff, maybe the simplified decor, or maybe the great coffee and food. Possibly a combination of all of the above. It's a bit small, luckily it wasn't rush hour when I went.

Popped in for a quick takeaway, their service was great. First time I was asked how much of honey would I like in my red cappuccino as well as the first for what temperature would you like your milk? The red cappuccino was one of the best I had and temperature was perfect. I see that they do sandwiches I will definitely be back for a quick lunch. @brewtowncoffeeco

Awesome. So glad I popped into Brewtown to take care of some emails. The owner (David) is the personification of excellent customer service. He warmly welcomed me to the "Brewtown Family" and immediately started introducing me to the locals. Never made so many new contacts in such a small space of time.<br/><br/>Anyway, the coffee is top drawer, expertly crafted. Service excellent and the retro/techno tunes helps to keep the atmosphere light. Guess I am a local now too...

So, as a new Cape Tonian, I thought that I had experienced 'real coffee' and had actually become quite a snob about it. The coffee here is fantastic. It's faultless and expertly crafted. Less about the coffee though and more about the man that served me. He had the most unbelievable manner about the way he dealt with his customers. Hugs all round and the most genuine pride when he served the coffees to his customers. Asking questions to us like 'is this caffeine up to your standards' made the experience out of this world. Whoever this man is, he is a GREAT manager/owner. I wish I had more experiences and encounters of such passion. Thank you happy smiley coffee man. You made my trip to Johannesburg and my outlook on customer satisfaction has completely changed as a result.

This tiny shop is a delight. The owner is on site and oozes friendliness and enthusiasm. Passersby in the center often wave to the owner. Staff are full of smiles and helpful. They offer the WiFi codes before you even ask. It is a very vibey atmosphere. With music that makes you feel like you are prepping for the weekend's party time. I can see why it was recommended to me.

This type of REAL coffee house has been missing from modern Jhb until now (28 Feb 2017). <br/><br/>Food: This is not a food place. It is a COFFEE place. The cakes are considerably better than the chain restaurant offerings. The coffee is GREAT. <br/><br/>Service: David (the owner) greeted us in person. He believes in a coffee house that brings people together and he lives this creed. He certainly has the personality for it. Friendly, chatty, interesting and eager for us to have an extraordinary coffee experience- which we did. <br/><br/>Ambience: Right-angled wood furniture, wood-tiled floor, black walls. It all gives the feel of a contemporary, yet warm space. Love this little spot. The staff are so friendly and helpful, offering the Wi-fi code immediately when you sit down and checking on you regularly. Besides your regular coffees and mochas etc - they also do protein shakes (handy for all the gym bunnies wandering past) as well as Chai Tea and Hot Chocolate. Not really a food venue, but they do offer toasted sandwhiches and Belgian waffles for those needing a snack. Great meeting venue and spot to work and catch up on those emails.

Had the pleasure of being served by David the owner. He treats everyone like a long lost friend and shares titbits of the Brewtown story with you that makes the quaint little place anything but ordinary. I had an amazing irish cream cappuchino. The peanut butter cheesecake is just decadent. He also let everyone in line have a spoon of the coffee cheesecake made with their own coffee beans. Absolutely divine. Will be back to try the lunch menu.

Was walking past and noted people sitting inside working, enjoying this cozy ambiance and warm friendly staff. The music is relaxing, almost jazzy and kept me entertained as I enjoyed my complimentary cup of of coffee. <br/>I was offered a free cappuccino by David, for my enquiring eye and sat myself in the corner of the shop as I enjoyed the rest of my read, luckily I had that in hand.<br/>The warm lighting and earthy feel let's you unwind.<br/>A great place to work and use as a focus point if you want to brain storm or even meet with friends for a catch up.

Fantastic coffee, worth our effort to drive there all the way from Constantiakloof. Their "dirty espresso" is a must, and the cold drip coffee drinks are amazing! If you're lucky enough to get a spot, try and attend their special evenings - their recent "Coffee appreciation evening" was great! Thanx guys, as coffee goes, I believe you are one of the best!

Coffee and cake to cure a hangover was the doctors orders and Brewtown coffee Co provided just what was needed. The coffee was great, keeping the coffee snob in me satisfied. And they had the most heavenly coconut cake. ..they only stock a few cakes but quality trumps quantity every time!

I was at Lonehill mall volunteering to assist in the CANSA shavathon, we arrived very early and were extremely coffee deprived. As soon as the store open I dashed in and was greeted with an amazing coffee aroma, I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they offer extra shot coffees (which can be asked for at many places but aren't actually on their menu). The coffee flavor was absolutely amazing, the prices were reasonable and the service friendly. Definitely a great coffee spot 😊

This hipster coffee spot delivers on great coffee. Popped in yesterday for a quick cuppa with some friends, we tried the cappuccino which was great along with a peanut butter iced coffee which is simply delicious if you don't mind the calories from all that ice-cream, but definitely a must try. The classic iced coffee wasn't as well received though. Staff are friendly and helpful and I'll definitely be back.

Visit Brewtown at least once a week. Great little coffee shop inside Lonehill shopping centre. Flat whites are fantastic, as are the peanut butter espresso iced coffee. The woman who is often behind the counter is fantastic--always cheery and smiling. Wish I could go more!

Great selection of smoothies and coffees! Tried out the Chemex coffee on my first visit with a bran muffin. Muffin was moist and nice- the coffee was brilliant! It was the first time I didn't need sugar or milk and savoured the pure beautiful coffee taste. My most recent trip with my family we had smoothies and milkshakes and I had Vietnamese coffee (cafe sua da). The smoothies were delicious especially the peanut butter espresso one.

Great coffee (cappuccino) and a really good chocolate muffin - all for R30. <br/>The generous sized muffin seemed a bit dry at first look, but the flavours more than made up for it. <br/>This little spot in Lonehill Shopping centre has minimalistic decor and is the perfect spot to use as a mobile office. <br/><br/>My favorite feature is the "Buy a cup of coffee and tweet the person"<br/><br/>You buy a cup of coffee and pin the receipt to a pin-board with the person's name on it. You tweet them a photo and they can pop past any time to redeem their coffee- such a novel idea!

Great decor and great coffee...lovely cuppacino's and we have also tried the Lindt Hot Chocolate...yummy even if I say so myself as I dont like hot chocolate normally.<br/><br/>I was however dissappointed in the Peanut Butter & Espresso Iced Coffee. Was very 'watery'...would be better thicker and creamier...just a suggestion.<br/><br/>Staff were a little 'quiet' initially but they are learning to open up and be friendlier.<br/><br/>

Nice little place to get a coffee, the location is a bit strange though as you actually have to go into the shopping centre to find it. It feels as though it should be more a "side walk" cafe. This would add a great deal more to it's appeal. <br/><br/>

Great decor and feel but staff were a little rude.... tried to engage about their menu and got pushed to order a regular cappuccino.... order for 2, both arrived in what looked like wimpy kids cool drink glasses.... almost a nice touch except mine had 2 inches of foam and my wife's had a thin layer barely thicker than a coin. <br/><br/>Almost cool but glasses allow you to see the poor attention to detail. <br/>
