An amazing vibe with a mad extraordinary owner who's energy never stops. If you're looking for a place to have a coffee, socialize, bang a few beats before your day starts or maybe just a hello on way through, then this is your none stop coffee shop.

This place has the X factor for me. I can't place what it was about the place. Maybe it's the friendly staff, maybe the simplified decor, or maybe the great coffee and food. Possibly a combination of all of the above. It's a bit small, luckily it wasn't rush hour when I went.
Popped in for a quick takeaway, their service was great. First time I was asked how much of honey would I like in my red cappuccino as well as the first for what temperature would you like your milk? The red cappuccino was one of the best I had and temperature was perfect. I see that they do sandwiches I will definitely be back for a quick lunch. @brewtowncoffeeco

Awesome. So glad I popped into Brewtown to take care of some emails. The owner (David) is the personification of excellent customer service. He warmly welcomed me to the "Brewtown Family" and immediately started introducing me to the locals. Never made so many new contacts in such a small space of time.
Anyway, the coffee is top drawer, expertly crafted. Service excellent and the retro/techno tunes helps to keep the atmosphere light. Guess I am a local now too...
So, as a new Cape Tonian, I thought that I had experienced 'real coffee' and had actually become quite a snob about it. The coffee here is fantastic. It's faultless and expertly crafted. Less about the coffee though and more about the man that served me. He had the most unbelievable manner about the way he dealt with his customers. Hugs all round and the most genuine pride when he served the coffees to his customers. Asking questions to us like 'is this caffeine up to your standards' made the experience out of this world. Whoever this man is, he is a GREAT manager/owner. I wish I had more experiences and encounters of such passion. Thank you happy smiley coffee man. You made my trip to Johannesburg and my outlook on customer satisfaction has completely changed as a result.
Super friendly staff, corrtado's from the heavens, and carrot cake made with the love of a mother. Nice coffee spot to grab a quick cup or listen to some sweet techno tunes.
This tiny shop is a delight. The owner is on site and oozes friendliness and enthusiasm. Passersby in the center often wave to the owner. Staff are full of smiles and helpful. They offer the WiFi codes before you even ask. It is a very vibey atmosphere. With music that makes you feel like you are prepping for the weekend's party time. I can see why it was recommended to me.

This type of REAL coffee house has been missing from modern Jhb until now (28 Feb 2017).
Food: This is not a food place. It is a COFFEE place. The cakes are considerably better than the chain restaurant offerings. The coffee is GREAT.
Service: David (the owner) greeted us in person. He believes in a coffee house that brings people together and he lives this creed. He certainly has the personality for it. Friendly, chatty, interesting and eager for us to have an extraordinary coffee experience- which we did.
Ambience: Right-angled wood furniture, wood-tiled floor, black walls. It all gives the feel of a contemporary, yet warm space. The far end is dominated by the counter and preparation area, leaving you in no doubt that coffee and conversation are taken seriously here, but not too seriously.
Overall: If I could I would be there every day for a rewarding conversation and a professional caffeine hit
Well situated as it is, at entrance 1 of the shopping centre, this trendy little coffee shop probably does a lot of coffee to go business, but don't let that dissuade you from having a seat at one of the tables provided within or just outside its doors. Our small party was well taken care of by the friendly and accommodating staff. I didn't try any of the artisanal coffees, but I will on a return visit. Food was quick to arrive and was tasty enough. To me, if a cafe has a small menu, the food must be well executed and deliver a little more than what is written up. It's the little details that will set you apart from everyone else. What we enjoyed was the standard sort of fare, nothing more or less.
It's a great spot, the best cappuccino I've had in a long time! My favorite part of the pastrami bagel was its generous filling, it was delicious.
I was also really pleased and impressed with the fast Wi-Fi.
Definitely coming back!

A beautiful interior and uplifting music transport me to another world.
A warm and welcoming atmosphere is created by the owner, David and his staff are some the friendliest I have ever encountered.
My favorite is always the Freezo, which is incredibly decadent and delicious, and the chicken bagel is simply the best.
Brewtown's super fast and free Wi-Fi makes it an ideal place to work, especially during loadshedding.
It is always a pleasure to visit Brewtown.
10 Stars! Brewtown is such a unique and truly beautiful space. So different from the usual and boring options. I loved the vibe, so chilled. The music and decor made me feel at home. The coffee!!! Wow, smooth, silky, strong and delicious. The new owner is charming and delightful. I truly enjoyed the scrumptious cheese, tomato and pesto bagel. I find myself craving not only the best coffee in town, but the ease and comfort Brewtown offers. I want to move in!!! Keep up the fantastic work!!!
Decided to pop in for a wake us up after lunch and we're pleasantly impressed.
Kind staff; quaint coffee shop and tasty coffee...they offer decaf too - yay!
