Great place for kids - mud kitchen, goats, jungle gym, guava orchards and trampoline outside as well as indoor play area including a lego table. Attention is given to the little things which make all the difference. They brought the kids food out first, so it could cool down enough to eat by the time our food arrived. The chef specially made cheese sauce for me even though it wasn't on the menu, just because it was my preference. The food was great, and really good value for money too. Thanks Stone Kitchen - loved the experience!
We decided especially on The Stone Kitchen for brunch/tea time due to their great kids area. Definitely kids friendly, from as young as a year. They have an indoor play area too. Their outdoor area has a few different “areas” with sand and jungle gyms, as well as swings and a trampoline.
Their food is delicious! Would recommend their grilled chicken wrap and their coffees. Their wine selection is small yet satisfactory with delicious Dunstone wines. Their kids menu is superb and has a great variety for each age group.
I would suggest making a booking beforehand as they get busy on holiday days and over the weekends.
Beautiful views. We visited on a Friday during their quieter times, which was great for us as we could fully enjoy the restaurant as first time visitors. We were told they get extremely busy over weekends and bookings are essential. There is plenty of seating available inside and outside. This place has the biggest play area I have seen at a restaurant (indoor and outdoor), therefore it is perfect for families. There is also a section with goats and pigs which kids will love. Our little one truly enjoyed herself and keeps asking to go back. Our waiter was friendly and very accommodating. We ordered burgers and wraps. The burgers were a bit dry and the onion rings a bit too oily, however the wraps were delicious. Our coffee came very hot just as we like it. This restaurant is definitely worth the visit.
