Very friendly service, beautiful Belgian waffles, and the greatest chocolate Latte I've ever had! They were having their annual close, but we didn't even feel rushed to leave, nor did they hover once the doors had been closed. Absolutely love this place!!

We always bring family and friends here, for brunch waffels, when they come to visit from the North. Perfectly fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside waffels. MAJOR selection of toppings. I have had the banana toff, the banana caramel, hot cherries and two savory selection. The prices can't be beat (sweet is ave R50), for your topping, waffel and two generous scoops of creamy ice-cream. They owner is very sweet. She put a candle in my mom's waffle for her birthday and two servers sang for her. Love this place. Like sitting at the window to get a view of the sea. (Meal average R150 for two. Meal and some nice cuppachino)
I’ve had loads of waffles in my life time and TBWH is definitely top 3. Each time I come here I’m greeted with such friendly and efficient service, it’s something so rare in Cape Town!
I opted for the syrup and vanilla ice cream - I’m a big fan of the classics. I wanted to have more waffle than ice cream because I’m not into the soggy mess that comes with waffles, so I’m a less is more when it comes to toppings.
I noticed they have a savory menu as well, can’t wait to come back to try it 🍦
Prompt service, attentive staff, great location, excellent quality. Definitely deserves a visit. The restaurant is clean and cosy. I can't fault them on anything.

Great crispy & fluffy waffles (maybe a bit too fluffy, but really good), super service (ordered 2 waffles and it came in what felt like 2mins), but not much of an atmosphere. It makes you want to leave after you've finished your waffle, & kind of reminds me of a school cafeteria, bland. But the waffles make up for it!
Definitely the best waffles I have ever tasted, light and fluffy and not at all a doughy batter. They have a good variety of toppings, definitely something for everyone. Cozy venue and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable.
For what it is, can't complain. Decent coffee and nice, more European like, waffles. It's a simple place, but nice to sit and have a chat with someone. Service is okay too.
Simply the best waffles in town! Staff are great and service is quick :) last time I went the waffles were a little bit airy inside.. but very nice owners they always happy to do a bowl of mince or something for my dog to eat outside :)

This joint seems to be super popular. Waited about 10mins to get seating. Once inside, we were approached by friendly staff. Got our milkshakes quick, and waffles followed through quick enough. For me, the waffles seemed a little too light in density. I prefer thicker and heavier Belgian waffles.... but my friend loved the light and crispy texture. It was really tasty, both sweet and savoury. Definitely choose the double scoop ice cream option. The banana milkshake was divine! No added sweetners.

Unexpected explorations brought us here and so glad we did. This Belgian waffle 🧇 House bombs ! First time ever at a restaurant where we got our food 🧇 before our drinks. They know how to prioritize 😂 Choose from a delicious waffle selection. Whether you like savory or sweet, they have it all. Loved the layout. It's small enough to fit a few people and also have seating at the window that looks out onto the sea 🌊 side walk. Might sometimes look crowded but the staff handle the business of the restaurant like a well oiled train.
Fluffy and light on the inside while crispy on the outside. Must try!

Went to the Belgian Waffle House on Sunday and expected to wait a while for table but pleasantly surprised to get a table fairly soon! Order waffle with ice cream and it was delicious and lovely and fresh!!

Great local place. The lady which runs the place was very nice and jovial. Not your typical waffle house. Bacon stuffed waffle, egg stuffed or even ice cream. You walk out side and across the street and you are on the beach. Breakfast of lunch it is all good. Be prepared to have something unique as each waffle has its own style.
You haven't eaten a Belgian waffle until you've had one here. Absolutely divine. Service is fantastic, really great vibe and the owner is super nice.

This place is something else. The owner is so hands on and friendly. She is always there and enjoys mingling with her clients.
Her attitude is definitely spilling over onto the staff. They are friendly and helpful and very accommodating.

This is a real local gem. Located right on the beach road they offer beautiful scenery, an intriguing menu and a very friendly atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and makes you feel right at home. I must say with the variety of waffles 🧇 to choose from on the menu,makes it extremely difficult to choose what to have. The result........I always walk away super satisfied and never disappointed about my choice.
