We went for a quick late lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the food we found here in the heart ❤️ of Stellenbosch.
You can see this is true Italian for the pizza 🍕 was some of the best i have had in a long time.
My wife had Ravioli Pasta and again you can see the flavouring was true Italian.
The rest was also above average with fast service.
The only not so nice was not so much Rome's fault was the Bistro across them had to much students and noisy.

This modern italian restaurant is the perfect spot any day of the week for any type of occasion. The atmosphere is perfect, it feels like you are sitting in a cobblestone street in Italy, perfectly situated in the hustle and bustle of the foodie strip of Stellenbosch (Church Street). Both ladies that served us were attentive, quick and friendly. Our drinks were cold and our food was hot. Food was quick and everything was beautifully balanced and flavoursome! We had a margherita to start and then the rigattoni bolognese and spaghetti alfredo. Will definitely be back again soon.
Delightful authentic restaurant in the mid of Stellenbosch. Friendly staff and the owner is present. Pasta and pizza prices very reasonable.
Such a lovely atmosphere, only had the tris de bruschette but will definitely visit again for a nice meal.
I was introduced to this small eatery by an Italian friend, and so was probably spoiled a bit as far as the Italian authenticity is concerned as the owner came to chat to us so it felt and sounded like you were actually in Rome. The food was really excellent. Had to eat a pasta dish as there was loadshedding, but it was really excellent. Seats on the sidewalk also gave it a distinctly European feel, and the service was also excellent. I will certainly be returning with other friends to introduce them to the restaurant, probably multiple times.

A very good experience ,the atmosphere and taste of the food truly gives you a like trip to Italy.Definitely the place to visit if you love Italian.
A super venue. I ordered the Ravioli. Delicious food and fast service. A very good waitress served us. Excellent dinner out
Although tasty, the pizzas were oily and a tad too crunchy. The service and the outdoor atmosphere was great.
Stunning little restaurant in Stellies with 5 star food! Perfect place to sit outside in good weather and have a slow bite to eat. Great service!
