Best Italian restaurant in Stellenbosch. Very good Pizza and Pastas. Wood fired pizzas. Friendly service. Good drinks and alcohol prices. Nice atmosphere
Friendly and helpful staff provided fantastic service, manager/owner was hands on and came to check up on our table to ensure that we were well taken care of due to our waiter being an impressive trainee, pleasant atmosphere, and hands down some of the best pizza in town.
We had a wonderful lunch at Piza e Vino. We had two 50/50 large pizza and a side mama salad. The salad was R38 and was a lovely sized portion. Piza e Vino was also very welcoming with the Entertainer App.

Piza e Vino ticks every box. Nice clean and modern setting, service that makes you feel special and excellent food that arrives in no time.
The pizza was absolutely delicious, true Italian style pizza! The dough is crispy and chewy, but light and fluffy, not burnt to a crisp. It’s also super tasty; really, you could almost just eat the dough, it’s that good.
Their menu is very extensive, but I think the pizzas are the stars of the show. They have a wide variety of topping choices, but we prefer the simpler versions. Less is more when it comes to pizza that’s this good.
I had half and half Pizza Collada and Regina, and my boyfriend had the Classic Margherita with extra salami. All three were super tasty, cheesy, and fresh from the oven.
The service was also impeccable. Very friendly staff, even those who didn’t serve us, and the waiter and the manager asked us whether we enjoyed our meal. I can’t remember the last time a manager made me feel so special. Our waiter also cleared our table regularly and was very helpful regarding the Entertainer app.
I can highly recommend Piza e Vino. Whether it’s for a date night, a family outing or an evening out with friends, they have something for everyone.

Food is good. Service was slow and no Lemonade for a rock-shandy that was ordered. Had the tikka pizza - good flavour and Caprese salad. Will be back for a pizza
Enjoyed lunch with family at the restaurant. We ordered pizzas and were very delighted with the service. We received our pizzas shortly after ordering. Delicious toppings ( I especially enjoyed the Pavement Special).We sat outside with a view on children playing in the fountains. Will definitely be back for more after a pleasant experience =)
Waited long for service. Ordered a pizza with "caramelised onions", but got slightly fried onions instead. This makes a big difference to taste. The waiter did not know the difference, but management did and gave 50% discount. Will go back!
A spur of the moment decision led us to Piza e Vino, and it was really worthwhile. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere, we sat outside and was able to leisurely enjoy our lunch. The Half and half pizza is such a great idea, between the two of us we were able to sample four different pizzas. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
Great food, good atmosphere! And kids enjoyed the pig fountain!

The locations great. Set in a sunny courtyard. The staff are exceptional. Attentive but not overbaring. Very happy to help and happy generally. I stayed a few hours and they broughtmy dogs water and one even went to a local pet store and brought some dog food for them.
Unlike most places they welcomed the dogs and catered for them rather than tolerated them. Great bunch of people and great service . Highly highly recommend
Very good restaurant, and nice outside area as well. Family friendly and the food is always good. Some great specials as well on a regular basis.

Stopped for a quick lunch over the weekend. The pasta was delicious 😋 😍 service was good and overall we had a great experience.
I was served a few times by Mo. And really appreciate his service that has always been extremely attentive and caring. Never disappointed! Highly recommend him 👌
Nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Nearby area for kids to get wet while parents can keep an eye and relax. Good service and overall good experience

I was very sad to hear that Piza-e-vino in Stellenbosch had to close down during Covid. I never checked again on Mr Delivery. The other day I tried to check it out again (some websites said that it was closed down) and found, to my delight, an immediate response to my WhatsApp! There are several other restaurants that hardly reply if you send them a booking or a request.
They are one of the few restaurants who do true Paleo pizza bases and Banting food. Pity I can't add some pictures here.
The food and service was 200%. The waitrons were friendly and very accommodating. I spent a lot longer time there than I meant to. And, it is about 1km out of town, which means, no parking problems. For a person by myself, I can park my car very close to the restaurant, not like in the centre of Stellenbosch.
I am so sorry that I have forgotten the names of the waitrons on duty, but please compliment them. It was Monday 7 Feb 2022 at about 17:30.
I won't go to another restaurant around here again, now.
Piza-e-Vino has a chilled atmosphere with good background music. The pizzas are great and come in medium or large and they also offer gluten free base (only available in large). The staff are friendly and accommodating. A 500ml still water costs R22, which I find excessive, but all restaurants seem to be taking advantage of the water shortage in this regard. Other than that, a great experience!
They have a massive variety of different food, and the waiters was very kind, and the decor it also very lovely, I would definitely recommend, and they also have vegan options :3

Pizzas were thin based I had the Quatro, artichokes were delicious.friend had the james brown,the barbecue sauce brought all components on the pizza into a cohesive lip-smacking delight..glasses of merlot washed down our pizzas .restaurant is on entertainer. Will definitely be back.

Their milkshakes are absolutely delicious as well as their pizzas. It's also great that you can do half/half options.
