Would definitely recommend ! The pizza and pasta is very tasty and the staff are attentive and polite. The food came within good time and I was very happy with my meal.
Beautiful spot in centre of Stellenbosch. Enjoyed sitting outside looking out on town. Their pizza Bianca is to die for and the atmosphere is classy would want to come again.
After not being around , coming back to a classic. Last visit was April 1997! And still, brilliant atmosphere, great food! Still an absolute favorite! Awesome guys, love the new (a while already) look! Warm and stunning!
It’s classic, quality Italian; efficient and friendly service and a solid go-to for locals. Superb grilled calamari, vast and OK priced wine selection, good pizza & pasta, nice meat variety.
Dec 29 dinner: Decameron is a place for authentic Italian dishes simply prepared from quality ingredients and fresh produce. Pizza bianca is a base only with olive oil and onions - more like a starter but well made. Pasta Allamario was good without any overdose of parmesan cheese. The food tasted nice. We ended with Tiramisu which was nice. The service was really good and attentive.

My wife and I went last night on a visit to S'bosch. The restaurant itself is a beautiful set out place and you feel very warm when entering as the staff are extremely friendly. The food was of a good quality but a little pricey for what you get. In Cape Town you can get similar food at similar establishments for cheaper but we will still return as we really enjoyed the evening.
We ended up Decameron after landing quite late and only landing up in Stellenbosch after 9pm. This little place looked really inviting from the street so we decided to give it ago. When we arrived they told us the kitchen had just closed but that they would make special exception for us. So cool. We all ordered quickly and the service was lovely. We then sat down outside and the atmosphere was really pleasant. Wine was extremely well priced with a great variety. The food came really quickly and everyone was really happy. It was a really good find so late at night.
Decameron is a firm local favorite that sells Italian food - pasta, pizza, steak, and fish. Their food was delicious and the waiter was friendly and helpful. I had chicken curry with vegetables, and my son had canneloni, while my husband tried the pizza. We will definitely be back for more.
You have to make a reservation in advance because they are really crowded in the evening. I really enjoyed their ribeye with rice and vegetables. The tiramisu was recommended to us by the waitress and it was really worth it, so I was glad that my main dish was not super heavy and I still had place for dessert.
Nice people that were incredibly accommodating to our somewhat large group. The new waiter did a great job helping us with our large order and left us all feeling satisfied. Thanks!

It was empty for a Saturday.....so we didn't really get the great atmosphere vibe I remember from going there when I was younger. Food was good but not the best I had. Average experience.

Starters - I had the mushrooms; define.
Mains - had a bit of a wait, but was woth it and the restaurant was very full!
I had a rib eye, chips and veggies, which was a special for the evening. What a meal! I cleaned my plate which is something I don't often do.
Too full from the meal to have dessert, so Dom Pedro it isif I have to recommend a good Italuan restaurant in Stellenbosch, this would be it.

It was the best pizza i had in a long time. Pasta dishes amazing as woodfired cooking makes it taste extra special.

I think I had something call Zimino.. that was lovely! The best food I had in South Africa so far lol... the portion was quite huge not forgetting that I had turndown rice/chips/salad that should have come with it. No regret! We don’t find the food expensive compared to UK/ SG =)
