Decameron is a firm local favorite that sells Italian food - pasta, pizza, steak, and fish. Their food was delicious and the waiter was friendly and helpful. I had chicken curry with vegetables, and my son had canneloni, while my husband tried the pizza. We will definitely be back for more.

You have to make a reservation in advance because they are really crowded in the evening. I really enjoyed their ribeye with rice and vegetables. The tiramisu was recommended to us by the waitress and it was really worth it, so I was glad that my main dish was not super heavy and I still had place for dessert.

It was empty for a Saturday.....so we didn't really get the great atmosphere vibe I remember from going there when I was younger. Food was good but not the best I had. Average experience.

What a meal!
Starters - I had the mushrooms; define.
Mains - had a bit of a wait, but was woth it and the restaurant was very full!
I had a rib eye, chips and veggies, which was a special for the evening. What a meal! I cleaned my plate which is something I don't often do.
Too full from the meal to have dessert, so Dom Pedro it isif I have to recommend a good Italuan restaurant in Stellenbosch, this would be it.

I think I had something call Zimino.. that was lovely! The best food I had in South Africa so far lol... the portion was quite huge not forgetting that I had turndown rice/chips/salad that should have come with it. No regret! We don’t find the food expensive compared to UK/ SG =)

Beautiful spot in centre of Stellenbosch. Enjoyed sitting outside looking out on town. Their pizza Bianca is to die for and the atmosphere is classy would want to come again.

What a disappointment! Ordering a 300g fillet steak which turned out to be 3 tiny little pieces and a very small portion of chips. Also, not the friendliest staff, telling me “what did you expect, this is a pasta place”. Such a bad experience.

Litterally the worst food for the most amount of money. As somebody who runs a dining establishment I would never recommend this place. Everthing tated like it came from a can or packet with heaps of preservatives. What a waste of money

Very nice place it's has a big out door space and its shaded and nice and cool. There is no wine list and the waiter don't really know the wines that well. The pizza was good think it's a bit prices for what you get can get better quality in stellenbosch for better price. Staff def need more training but thy are well groomed !!<br/>It's a nice place if you looking for a quick lunch ! <br/>

I was invited to have dinner here with a group of friends. We started off with a bottle of wine and a Bianca pizza ― very nice. For the main course I ordered seared salmon with chips. I was quite disappointed with my meal ― it wasn't well presented and tasted very bland. Not the best restaurant I've been too, although the service was really good. Better luck next time.

Dec 29 dinner: Decameron is a place for authentic Italian dishes simply prepared from quality ingredients and fresh produce. Pizza bianca is a base only with olive oil and onions - more like a starter but well made. Pasta Allamario was good without any overdose of parmesan cheese. The food tasted nice. We ended with Tiramisu which was nice. The service was really good and attentive.

Honestly one of the worst dining experiences ever. The food is below average, expensive, and on top of that the manager is extremely rude. We requested to speak to her because our one meal was disgusting, however, she refused to come to our table and when we got up to confront her all she said was "can't you see that I'm busy?" Horrendous service. Will never go back.

Went to eat there a while ago was not very impressed the cutlery is all old and scratched and the food took forever to come! It tasted horrible. Won't be there anytime soon. Very expensive for the type of food and service received.

My wife and I went last night on a visit to S'bosch. The restaurant itself is a beautiful set out place and you feel very warm when entering as the staff are extremely friendly. The food was of a good quality but a little pricey for what you get. In Cape Town you can get similar food at similar establishments for cheaper but we will still return as we really enjoyed the evening.

We ended up Decameron after landing quite late and only landing up in Stellenbosch after 9pm. This little place looked really inviting from the street so we decided to give it ago. When we arrived they told us the kitchen had just closed but that they would make special exception for us. So cool. We all ordered quickly and the service was lovely. We then sat down outside and the atmosphere was really pleasant. Wine was extremely well priced with a great variety. The food came really quickly and everyone was really happy. It was a really good find so late at night.
