Very safe during corona. Our friendly waitress sanitized everything including the pen we used to sign for the bill.
At first, I was quite sceptical about the place since I only found out the place through the Entertainer app. As it turns out, I did have quite a good experience. Service was excellent and the steak was pretty good except the sides were doused in too much olive oil. Other than that, it wasn't bad.
This unassuming eatery in the North, lovely, quiet, clean with ambient lighting. My partner and I choose an outside table and ordered the Café D Steak, she ordered a side of salad and the steak well done, I on the other ordered my steak rear with rendered fat and perfectly done I might add, and the most delicious roasted vegetables.
We had a friendly and efficient waitress named Melody who was very accommodating.
This hidden gem is defiantly worth returning to
I have been using this place for a long time and their food is always consistent.good size portions, food is always fresh, waiters are always friendly, open during loadshedding, and do corkage. I will always go back. it was also our first time trying the pasta, and it was a good 5 out of 5
We often go here for date nights. Reasonable prices and delicious food. The trinchado is a must! Their burgers are great too, and they have the best cheese cake around.

Sit outside, the terrace on a summer night is a pleasure. Inside the lighting is a bit harsh..But the rest is perfect. Good food and excellent service.
We always have such a great time here. The manager and waiters are very friendly and creates a welcoming atmosphere. The baked cheesecake is a MUST!
What a lovely surprise! Excellent freshly prepared food with good quality ingredients. Tagliatelle made fresh on request. Nomsa was very attentive to our every need. Try the Pastries de Nata!
I have visited Cafe' D a few times now and on each occasion I have been served with beautifully presented, fresh food. The staff is super friendly, making you feel so welcome. They do not skimp on quality - they bake their own bread and serve hand cut chips, which is great 👌
Ordered trio combo, great mix of flavours, chicken livers in red wine sauce was great, as was the Calamari, and the Trinchado was fantastic, especially when dipping the homemade roll in the trinchado sauce.
Brazilian Espatade also very tasty, and the added choriço fried to perfection.

Great spot. Owner and management deal with customer feedback very professionally. Hospitality awareness is spot on. Pricing on drinks is super competitive and food is fresh prepared and without fault! Try the chicken or the the calamari - you can't go wrong.
Decent meal, okay service and decently priced.
Not really a place to go with small kids, but if they can sit still you can take them.

Loved the tranquility. Went on a Sunday to have just a cute breakfast and the staff was amazing . Enjoyed the view as well. The menu consists of alot of variety so much to choose from and accommodates even the smallest of Budgets . It Closes really early so I'd say its perfect for breakfasts and Lunches .Dinners not so much .Also .Also Google their menu before you go or ask their friendly staff to advice you on the best meals

First time dining inside Cafe Duarte and this cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Conveniently located, it's a great spot to grab a bite or have some drinks.
The staff were all very hospitable, efficient and complied with Covid-19 safety regulations. We were served by Melody, who was very friendly!
The menu offered a variety of dishes at reasonable prices. So glad to have found this hidden gem in the heart of Randburg. I'll definitely be back again soon.
Had a fantastic experience at Cafe Duarte. Tasty meal with great flavors and amazing service. Our waitress was so friendly, helpful and somehow knew what we wanted before we even asked. Definitely a place that I will be returning to so I can try more of their dishes.

Cafe Duarte is the most amazing little Portuguese spot with BIG flavors on the plate in Jozi. They are really recommended.
