Very lovely and well priced Caffe that needs our support more than ever now during the pandemic. Friendly staff and great management! Yummy food. Not too noisy, so you can have a good conversation.
One of the well established places in Brooklyn Mall. If you've been to Brooklyn Mall chances are good that you've walked past the restaurant on the upper level close to Woolies and Edgars. A very decent place to grab a bite to eat for lunch...always a lunch special or two running. Good warm drinks and friendly staff. Not a bad option if you're inside the mall(the restaurant has stiff competition from quite a few places in the plaza). It does sometimes feel that you're right in the middle of all the shoppers,especially on a busy weekend morning!
I was served by Khosi, very friendly and made me feel so welcome....The chicken and gherkins tramezini is to die for, you should try their carrot cake....not too sweet and very fresh and moist, great value for money
Friendly staff, efficient service and the most delicious appetising fragrances from the fresh food being prepared. Quick snack of toasted tuna mayo withh added chillies was yummilicious!
Really cheap breakfast here ,service is also fast but the staff are talking to each other all the time ,you can't hear your own conversation .
It's really great to able to do your shopping and have a great place to have a breakfast, lunch or something to drink in a nice comfortable place with service and food of this quality. Location and style are therefore the selling features and so well balanced with good food. I will always stop here.
Loved the ciabatta and salmon with a nice crisp salad and fresh lemonade. Service was courteous and there are comfy couches for sitting -- perfect late lunch!
Located on the top floor close to Edgars, Cafe Frescatti is an uncomplicated and unpretentious. This is a good thing especially when you want to have your food cravings met. They regularly have special offerings on breakfasts, which makes this a good tummy filler.
They have lovely salads, confectionery and their contemporary decor is simplistic and they offer cafe chairs and tables for seating, but also lounge corners that works well for families with little ones.
I love Cafe Frescatti as it’s great value for money and you always walk away happy. Well done once again and see you soon.
A real to gem to have a bite to eat. Whenever I'm in Pretoria, a meal at Frescatti is a highlight of the day. The food is always fresh and the preparation consistently good. The menu is interesting and well priced. The location allows for a semi-quiet setting with lovely natural light coming in from above. It's obvious that the owner takes great care and pays attention to his product. The service is always friendly and efficient. The relaxed atmosphere often inspires a glass of red wine (which is a good wine, for a house wine per glass). Great place! It's ALWAYS time and money well spent.
I have been a regular customer at Frescatti for the past 10 years (at least 4 times a week) The high quality of food and service has made me a very loyal customer. The meals are very reasonably priced and the menue offers a wide variety. Over the years I have invited local and international friends and collegues to Frescatti and they have never been disappointed

The best breakfast, coffee and service in Pretoria. The staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. The free little biscuits with the coffee are delicious by themselves. Everything is made fresh on site and with good quality ingredients (no pre-frozen, sauce covered, artificially flavoured and re-heated items on this menu). Great for people of all ages. Specials are great value! And they are allergy friendly and happy to customise orders. Highly recommend.
They have been around for 21 years, and with good reason. A lovely spot to grab coffee, a slice of their fantastic cake or light snack between the shopping spree!
Lovely staff and atmosphere snack in the middle of the mall. Be sure to check they have good value for money and a few specials.

Always great to stop at Frescatti for a quick bite! The owner is such a gentlemen and his staff absolutely professional. The food is great and affordable.
I only had Ily cappuccino and fruit salad with joghurt.

Lovely little restaurant on the upper floor of Brooklyn Mall, outside of heavier foot-traffic areas. The menu caters for everything from breakfast, light meals, and all the way to full meals. The portions are very generous and pricing is reasonable, with exceptional quality food and coffee being served. They also serve some wine and beers, making this an excellent spot to catch up with friends.
Good service and very friendly staff. We had breakfast which was delicious not to mention the lovely filter coffee. Place is very tidy, will recomend this to everyone.
Well done to aal the staff, keep up the excellent service. You will definately see me again.
In over a decade I’ve never received bad service or had an unpleasant meal. Portions are just right and prices are reasonable.
