The best breakfast, coffee and service in Pretoria. The staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. The free little biscuits with the coffee are delicious by themselves. Everything is made fresh on site and with good quality ingredients (no pre-frozen, sauce covered, artificially flavoured and re-heated items on this menu). Great for people of all ages. Specials are great value! And they are allergy friendly and happy to customise orders. Highly recommend.

Lovely staff and atmosphere snack in the middle of the mall. Be sure to check they have good value for money and a few specials.

Lovely little restaurant on the upper floor of Brooklyn Mall, outside of heavier foot-traffic areas. The menu caters for everything from breakfast, light meals, and all the way to full meals. The portions are very generous and pricing is reasonable, with exceptional quality food and coffee being served. They also serve some wine and beers, making this an excellent spot to catch up with friends.

One of the well established places in Brooklyn Mall. If you've been to Brooklyn Mall chances are good that you've walked past the restaurant on the upper level close to Woolies and Edgars. A very decent place to grab a bite to eat for lunch...always a lunch special or two running. Good warm drinks and friendly staff. Not a bad option if you're inside the mall(the restaurant has stiff competition from quite a few places in the plaza). It does sometimes feel that you're right in the middle of all the shoppers,especially on a busy weekend morning!

Went for breakfast at Caffe Frescatti. Warm welcome and ordered drinks. Ordered a cuppacino with cream and they brought it in one of those petite cups. The problem I have with this cups, firstly - my index finger doesn’t fit through the “ear” and secondly - small cup. Breakfast was ordered and I opted for the low gi bread (I asked for the various options). When the bill was presented, I saw that you pay extra for low gi. When I confronted the waitress, “oh sorry sir, I forgot to tell you that it is extra”. Don’t mind paying extra for stuff, just let me know in advance.<br/><br/>

It's really great to able to do your shopping and have a great place to have a breakfast, lunch or something to drink in a nice comfortable place with service and food of this quality. Location and style are therefore the selling features and so well balanced with good food. I will always stop here.

Located on the top floor close to Edgars, Cafe Frescatti is an uncomplicated and unpretentious. This is a good thing especially when you want to have your food cravings met. They regularly have special offerings on breakfasts, which makes this a good tummy filler.<br/><br/>They have lovely salads, confectionery and their contemporary decor is simplistic and they offer cafe chairs and tables for seating, but also lounge corners that works well for families with little ones.<br/><br/>I love Cafe Frescatti as it’s great value for money and you always walk away happy. Well done once again and see you soon.

A real to gem to have a bite to eat. Whenever I'm in Pretoria, a meal at Frescatti is a highlight of the day. The food is always fresh and the preparation consistently good. The menu is interesting and well priced. The location allows for a semi-quiet setting with lovely natural light coming in from above. It's obvious that the owner takes great care and pays attention to his product. The service is always friendly and efficient. The relaxed atmosphere often inspires a glass of red wine (which is a good wine, for a house wine per glass). Great place! It's ALWAYS time and money well spent.

Good service always makes on want to go there again, the strawberry milkshake was great, cold and fresh. The tramezini avo and feta was tasty and fresh. A great place for a quick meal for a person on the road.

At a Meditteranean eatery I am expecting fat plump olives...Not the case here. I ordered the avo and haloumi salad: 4 slivers avo, 4 slices very tough haloumi (that explains why the waitress gave me a steak knife), 4 cherry tomatoes and 5 olives smaller than a marble each - with the pip still in - all on a bed of wilted carrot and bitter, no not butter, bitter lettuce @R75. I think not! At least they have Illy coffee. Service attentive, but I am sad to say the quality of the food dropped significantly since my last visit.

I always pass by this place as it is usually unbearably full but since I had an early appointment I was lucky enough to pop in before the buzz.the service is really good I noticed how attentive the entire staff. I also love how almost everything has the brand name from the placemat right up to the bill. I ordered the mini frescatti bacon grilled tomato and scrambled eggs topped with feta the eggs where so watery and runny the waitress noticed very quickly that I was put off and offered to have them well done but I was already to put off I had lost my appetite for eggs as unpleasant as that was im very satisfied with how she handled the situation and I'll be sure to mention exactly how I want my eggs next so I don't get a yellow pool with feta topping.

Caffe Frescati is a haven for weary shoppers in Brooklyn Centre with an inviting, bright and urban look. A few comfortable couches additional to silver metal chairs & tables. Accents of lime green. <br/>The Berry Dream, a tall smoothie with Blueberries, Strawberries, Ice Cream, Frozen Joghurt and Pineapple Juice - cool and delicious and looks pretty!<br/>Spring Onion Formaggini - melted cheese & mayo on rye, served with a side salad was good but slightly over seasoned.<br/>Mpendie, the waitress was kind & friendly. First-class service with a smile!

Had lunch here with my husband. I had the Savory mince crepe and husby had the Chicken mayo toasted sarmie. <br/>The crepe was amazing! Rich, hearty meaty flavours and thick, tasty, well cooked crepe (not soggy at all, and crepe was second only to that famous pancake place near Warmbaths/ Bella Bella). <br/>Would definitely go back for the crepe, but unfortunately the chicken mayo was a bit bland. The hot chocolate was ok.<br/><br/>The vibe can be pretentious, but I guess that also has to do with how the other customers are. It's a nice spot for people watching and is situated adjacent to the cutest retro clothing shop; Retrospective! <br/>It's a nice place for husbands to rest while wives are shopping (at above-mentioned store) or to take your mom for a light lunch. :)

Nice place to sit and have breakfast. They've got a good selection of sweet treat as well, which have a very home-made feel. My waitress seemed distracted or busy, but thankfully, the others were quite helpful.
