Awesome service and food! Had a great experience. They catered for gluten- free and for vegetarian food. The calamari and chicken go very well together.

Celebrated a birthday with friends here, they go out of their way to accommodate your needs. The sushi was good, but what left us amazed was a bar one chocolate cake they had on the day - not too sweet, perfectly moist, chocolatey cake - yummy! Served with ice cream and a special birthday song. They have awesome specials too. Our waiter wasn't great but we really enjoyed our time here.
We visited John Dory's in Faerie Glen for a very unusual experimental sushi and craft beer tasting dinner. A bit cautious at first, we were absolutely delighted by how well the craft beer and sushi paired with each other. You'd be forgiven for thinking that you are in a fine dining restaurant, with a really nice atmosphere, a good amount of space and a fantastic sushi bar. Chef Ian spoiled us with a few interesting and personalised combos and even allowed us to make a few suggestions. We will definitely be keen on having this as a regular menu option, as it just adds something interesting and special to a standard menu.

A special thank-you to Ian and his Sushi Chef for the sushi and craft beer pairing dinner hosted at John Dory's. This pairing was wonderful, creative and ideal for our Spring weather.
My highlight of the evening was the Prawn Avalanche with ginger, 7 spice and Japanese mayonnaise....simply scrumptious.
I'm not really a beer drinker but I was really impressed with the Cluver & Jack cider made from estate apples.....it went down really well!!!
I can't wait until to return to John Dory's to try out their other seafood options.
Zomans - we were treated to a night of sushi and craft beer pairing, sounds a bit weird but was actually a really good combination. We sat at the sushi table with our very own sushi chef at our disposal. The owner/manager Ian was there talking us through every step of the way and making sure we legit just enjoy the evening.
I have to say the combo that really ticked me off was the Prawn Avalanche - ginger, 7 spice & Japanese mayo paired with a jack black lumber jack amber ale. This whole combination was the cherry on top for me. With regards to the craft beer I really enjoyed the Cluver & Jack cider/craftbeer.
I really enjoyed this whole experience and would definitely be keen on coming back for more :)
I was invited to join the fellow foodies for a beer and sushi tasting at John Dorys at olympus village, it was amazing,
Craft Beer and Sushi sounds like a bit of a weird combination but it was carefully figured out and it was surprisingly amazing, the tastes worked out sooo well,
We sat at the belt table and it was so much fun to see them preparing the sushi while we tasted all the interesting flavour combinations.
The restaurant is beautifully designed and it was a pleasure to be there,
I would definitely recommend it to you, tast some beer and sushi, just choose the right one

A huge thank you to Zomato for setting up this lovely meet up. This was my first time in the Olympus village area and might I say what a lovely area it is. John Dory's is nestle in at the far west end close to the water feature. I really want to take the time to thank the team for the time and effort they put into this, beer and sushi pairing is such and concept but it's also a concept very hard to achieve and I'm fully mesmerized by the process it must have taken to compose each pairing. I will each pairing did work for me some better than others, I especially loved the cluver and jack cider with fruit futomaki and terayaki mayo, The jack black lumber jack Amber ale with prawn Avalanche, ginger, 7 spice & Japanese mayo and for the open pairing I did enjoy Nadia Barnard's crab stick maki. I also quite liked the vibe of the place, we were seated by the sushi bar as the owner/chef Ian walked us through each pairing and the place was just buzzing. The slight oversight was the slow service, and the slightly just slightly cramped seating. But apart from that really it's a really chilled place with a good wifi connection which is always a total bonus.
Great food and nice atmosphere. Our waiter was very attentive and management also came around to make sure that we were happy. This is how an restaurant should be run. Great food and fast & friendly service. Well done. This is why we always return...
Enjoyed the food especially now that I am trying to eat healthy, it was the 1st time eating salmon and seared tuna and I really enjoyed it. Fresh and delicious.
The watermelon and strawberry mocktail was a bit sweet but definitely refreshing. Will definitely come back.

This place getting really bad. Just looked at sushi... It is really bad. Service non existed. When it opened it was great now it became bad. Quote from waiter "it is a half price sushi you will get less fish" is this really happening to John Dorys???

This is an awesome place for some sushi, red wine and great seafood. Lekka kids entertainment area and water fun! Friendly service and casual atmosphere.
