Good friendly service, vibrant atmosphere and quality food
We come here often with my family for their grilled wings and great drink specials because quite frankly no one in Pretoria, and yes we've been looking, has come close to their style flavour of the chicken or their properly made blue cheese sauce. Food is packed with flavour (especially when they have food specials going on) and if you have not tried their Dead Chef hot sauces then I would strongly suggest that you do if you like a bit (or a lot) of spice to your meal. Service has always been great and waiters have always been welcoming. The atmosphere is vibey and a great spot to meet up with friends, catch up on stories while welcoming the hangover for the next morning.
Baracas is by far the best pub in pretoria.
Delicioua affordable food, decent priced brandy specials. Friendly and helpfull staff. You’ll always leave Baracas having had the best of times with old friends
Fabulous bar and great service from the staff from start to finish. Will definitely be spending more time there getting my face totally stuffed with their awesome food.
Good old Baracas, have been going here for years and always end up having a good time. Staff is friendly but could be more efficient at the bar. However, this is a place where you can just enjoy the company of friends, and even a few random strangers. Never eaten here, but having a drink with some mates never disappoints.

Baracas' burgers are beyond delicious! The onions rings and chips that acompony them are just as good. Perfect meal to enjoy with friends while enjoying a drink as well.

If you want a good burger and tasty chicken wings, great place to go to. Love the fact that you get to sit in a 'beer garden', yet you sit under a big tree, listening to the rustle of the leaves
Not sure if they still do the Tuesday special on burgers, but if they do- just do it. Big patties, with all sorts of tasty goodies that has the greatest of parties within your mouth. It feels like the burger buns have gone smaller though and they aren't as fresh as they used to be. Still great burgers.
Decided to have drinks and dinner with friends here. Phoned and made a reservation for 8 people. When we got there they didn't reserve a big enough table for us. The table could only seat 6 people. Friends had to sit on high bar stools next to us. Not very comfortable. The outside seating area is a bit dark, would have been great if they had little lanterns on the tables to be able to read the menu. Service was ok. Food was great! And the craft beer was good. Would think twice before going there again.
Nice place to have many different beers. The burgers are good and the staff is really nice. They also have a small fireplace.

The food is absolutely amazing! A favourite of mine and they have the most divine platters to share. Their chips are out of this world. The service is good and the waiters are always friendly! A beautiful out of doors experience.

This is a great place to visits after work to grab a drink and just unwind. They have a grate selection if drink and also offer craft beer by draft or bottle.
The place normally attracts a party crowd later into the evening and becomes rather busy but each to their own when it comes to joining or not.
They also offer a nice food selection, from meals to baskets, something to eat before going crazy with the drinks.
Overall a great place to come unwind.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and an accommodating environment for a group of friends on a night out. Only aspect I did not enjoy was the kind of music played (modern hits that students will appreciate) but it won't keep me from returning. Will enjoy many more happy nights there. Big thanks to the staff.
Great food and real value for money. Staff is slow during the less busy times and a bit more on the ball during very busy times, but always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Great for when there are major games - rugby, football, etc, - happening!
