Really cool spot, with great coffee. If you’re cold in winter, go and sit in the “container lounge” upstairs- it’s really cosy (as long as the sun shines).

Their Crème Brulé Latte and Almond Cappuccino are perfect for morning inspiration ☕☀️

Amazing selection of hot or cold drinks, and food. Relaxed environment with a modern aesthetic. Love their iced lattes.

Definitely my top favorite spot to grab coffee, if not the best artisanal coffee in Pretoria. Friendly staff! The owner is always keen to have a chat! Phenomenal passion displayed through what he does. Atmosphere is hip and trendy, great light meals and super tasty desserts.

Our all-time favourite Hazelwood spot is Spout Cafe. Their coffee & baked goods are superb.

What a gem of a place! A brilliant example of a container put to great use. It was cold and windy when we arrived so we sat in the container at the top of the stairs. On a good day the table in the courtyard would be a treat. We had cappucinnos, croissant with ham & cheese ... and banana bread with maple butter ... all got the thumbs up. While finishing our second round of cappucinnos, a group of people arrived in their active gear and joined us in the container - by this stage it was raining! They had been evacuated from gym ... bomb scare ... so had caught an uber. The cricket we were on our way to was rained out ... so the 5 of us spent the next 2 hours chatting before moving across the road for lunch and drinks! You meet the nicest people in the least expected places! Spout is an absolute must for anybody looking for authentic and real. You can feel the love 😊

We really like this place. For me the setting is quite original and it makes me feel like those coffee shops in Europe, where you can sit on the sidewalk and enjoy life passing by. Coffee is quite delicious. I do not remember its name but go for the lemon pastry generously covered with chocolate; you will not be disappointed.

What an aromatically well balanced, full body smooth cup of coffee. Spout Cafe never disappoints. With a variety of freshly baked sweet and savoury eats, there is something for everyone. The staff and owners have always been friendly and the baristas know what they are doing. This is a dog friendly space, which is great!

This is the best coffee shop I have ever been to. Such a great community. The people that go there are regulars or become regulars- that says it all. The owner is dynamic and friendly. If you there once she will remember your name and your oder the next day. I cannot have coffee elsewhere- Spout raised the bar.

This is my go to place to meet a friend for coffee! I love the alternative architecture of the place, it always creates interest when bringing someone new to the place. The staff are very friendly and you can see the love that goes into the food. The food and coffee does not disappoint either. The menu has a great selection of hearty wholesome food and delicious and sweet treats! The prices are very reasonable making this place an ideal coffee spot!

Most amazing coffee and vibe. My twin sister and I try to come by everyday. It's like our day is incomplete without a stop by at spout. Very good and friendly service. And we love bringing my parents here from the Cape.

The most wonderful vibe, exceptional coffee, full-of-flavour menu and clearly a well-loved place. Oh, and not to forget the very beautiful decor, friendly staff and the gorgeous street style. Definitely a trend-setter - setting the bar for many coffee spots in Pretoria.

This place is gorgeous and the set up is amazing. I had some time before a meeting in the area and went to grab a caramel latte and pain au chocolate. Sat upstairs and it was warm, cosy with gorgeous views and the perfect cup of latte. The service was fantastic, i felt like i was home thats hiw personalised and friendly it was. The pain au chocolate was crispy with the perfect combination of pastry to chocolate. This place is like a dream in the heart of waterkloof. I cant wait to go back and try other items on tge menu. Next time you are in this area do yourself a favour and stop by.

Spout Coffee Company is definitely one of Pretoria’s new coffee shops that are setting the standard for other bistro’s and baristas. They are situated in a little courtyard serving beverages and snacks from a container-like café. The atmosphere is stunning for a quick break between meetings and the upstairs ‘container’ enhances this cultural experience. But… oh goodness the coffee is smooth and real and just simply good. <br/>My current favorite coffee spot in Pretoria and I will easily visit weekly! <br/>Drink to order – Everything is superb, even the decaf cup will be sufficient.

We just popped in for coffee and a snack. The coffee was good and the pastries were delicious (I loved the pear and blue cheese tart). Great atmosphere and service. Will definitely go back!

Popped in for a breakfast. The containers are a really cool idea to create the cafe and a little courtyard. There is limited seating so we sat at the counter and that wasn’t an issue at all. <br/>I ordered the olive and rosemary damper and the French toast while my boyfriend had the egg soufflé with croissant. It was really good but somewhat bland. <br/>Would definitely go back.

Visit to Spout was really great.<br/>The service by our waitress (Jessica, I think) was wonderful. The affogato - with caramel and honeycomb - is incredible. Also ordered the baked eggs as well as avo on toast on a previous visit. Both were delicious both times. Prices are also reasonable. Will be back for sure 🌞 only criticism - could improve on the seating arrangement.

Nom nom nom! The olive and rosemary damper is a must try. Yeah, its pricey for such a small bite, but trust me on this one! The coffee and other pastries are great too (and a bit more affordable). And what more do you need to wash any monday blues than sitting outside a blue designer coffeeshop container, under a tree, eating comfort food?

Popped in after a great lunch and had a flat white. The whole concept seemed well planed, with amazing decor, service and product. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

This coffee shop is most definitely something different - with its modern architecture (in old containers) and interesting look. The place stands out and looks very interesting as an entire. The food was very good and coffee even better. The way they presented the food was most definitely a plus point - with the wooden tree stumps. The prices are also very reasonable.<br/><br/>The criticism toward this place is definitely the owners (managers maybe - not sure) they are very unfriendly and unwelcoming. They tend to feel uninterested in the customers. We went there twice to see if maybe the first time was an exception - but again we were greeted with no smiles. They should also add more signs that you should order at front - so it's not that awkward when entering. I also believe that they should have more seating - as the top part is clearly unbearable hot (as stated by the owners twice).<br/><br/>Not sure I will go back - maybe just for a takeaway coffee

Best yogurt in Pretoria! Extremely healthy and fresh drizzled with fresh fruit and nuts. I had this for lunch only and was kept full until dinner time. I highly recommemd for all health freaks out there!

I loved this place, from the chilled setup they had (sitting on the street, literary) to the nice berry smoothie I had to how nature has been incorporated into the restaurants in the area. It's an ideal place for a relaxed day with friends, spouses, dates, etc.<br/><br/>I enjoyed my smoothie very much, the ingredients complimented each other very well and the service was awesome

Life's delights are found in the simplicity of a good cup of aromatic coffee, accompanied with a lovely chat in a delightful space. Well I was feeling way too hot to have had a cup myself but the aromatics in the air where quite lovely as I sipped on an iced coffee. I do love the use of the storage compartments but yessi that top one is incredibly hot, they should have opted for the storage compartment with a built in aircon. But the staff is really quite friendly and it's an overall lovely coffee shop.

One of the most uniquely designed coffee shops I have seen. Open bright atmosphere situated in the Village. Spout serves gourmet  coffee that they roast themselves upstairs that you can pair with delicious desserts and small eats. Friendly family run restaurant that is open from early morning to late afternoon.

Not too sweet, as it can easily go that way with flavoured lattes. Cuppachino the husband ordered was also good. Chocolate brownie was moist, not overly sweet, presentation was pretty. Good times are here again - A new culinary scene is unfolding in the east of Pretoria, The Village on 16th Street. It's reminiscent of Parkhurst 4th Avenue vibe. Today am trying out Spout Coffee Company....<br/><br/>Ambience = 4. Beautifully conceptualized space out of a double-storey container with a minimalist but present look-and-feel, which leaves you with some nostalgic feeling of sorts. The only downside is the heat in the container upstairs this time of the year. Some investment in some aircon will rest the matter...<br/><br/>Food = 5. Don't come here feeling wolffish - this is a caffeine haven with some very light delights for the not-so- hungry. Appetizing array of coffee accompaniments and light eats! They serve a brilliant, mean cup of cappuccino which I enjoyed heartily, accompanied by a cranberry and orange granola. Served with thick Greek yoghurt - memorable!<br/><br/>Service = 4. Well appointed, laid-back service. Friendly staff top it all. The manager/owner appeared apprehensive though 😅....<br/><br/>Will be back (in that Terminator voice 😎).....

I love this quaint cafe situated in Waterkloof. It definitely has that post-humanistic aesthetic. With friendly staff and delectable treats and coffee this place is going to see a lot more of me. Tip: Try the dark hot chocolate with one of their signature brownies. You will meet your chocolaty death instantly. Check it out.

We stopped by for a quick bite of breakfast. The coffee is really delicious. I had the baked eggs with a croissant, which was really good! The croissants were really crispy and fresh and the eggs were cooked to perfection. <br/><br/>It was a chilly morning, and there wasn't much space for sitting, but the design and decor is really modern and cool. It makes for great foodie photos :p

Unique and cosy with a made to order menu. Ive tried the olive and rosemary damper, gourmet sandwiches , the signature savoury galette and espresso and indian tonic....different, tasty and definitely worth coming back for!!

Spout Coffee is a great place for a coffee when you are on the go or want to sit down with friends. The owners are friendly and the place has a great vibe. They also have a selection of light sandwiches and pastries which look delicious. More of a coffee place than a lunch place but great non the less. They have their own roastery upstairs where they roast their own beans. Cute and quaint little addition to the Village area with good coffee.

I'm glad I finally got to try Spout... I had a delicious cappuccino & breakfast while doing some work upstairs. Ppl were in & out for business meetings & coffee dates. Great vibe. Despite not being fully setup yet, the staff were friendly & the service was good. I look forward to going back!

I was lucky to be an early customer to Spout coffee when they first opened in the Village and needless to say, I love this little coffee haven. Ultra modern design and contemporary ideas with cutlery and setting make this exactly what I want in a coffee shop. I know that once they are settled in coffee lovers will flood here.
