Perfect gelato, definitely not too pricey like most other gelato places.
The owner is super friendly.
Their food is also very, their brownies are especially excellent.
The atmosphere and decor is so creative and lovely to look at.

Lovely place. Amazing waffles and ice cream! The ice cream flavours are really cutting edge and waffles melt in your mouth! Their trading hours are also very favorable.I’d definitely go back.

Superb coffee , especially the cafe latte, and the best gelato in town ! Had a scoop of the lemon meringue in a sugar cone and it hit all the spots . The flavor and texture was sensational and they will see us again very soon . 🙌🏼
Last night was the first time I've been to Aroma and they will definitely be seeing me soon again. The gelato is amazing and well worth the price!!!
Enjoy going to Aroma for breakfast. I always have the same because it's my favorite... Eggs Benedict, Peanut Butter Smoothie and cappuccino to end it off. It's lovely sitting outside on a hot day and great indoor on a cold day. The cakes are also delicious. The menu is a bit pricey but worth-it. We always receive great, friendly and fuss-free service.
This is a gem of a spot, stays open till late, perfect for a late night treat! Very friendly staff and a nice and cosy atmosphere. Best cappuccino and gelato in town... a must visit!!
Do you get better than a fresh baked waffle, parking is bad ..... but when you get in a great treat! Would love a new addition to the menu
Great little gem in Pretoria. I am glad we have more Cape Town esque places here. Salted caramel was a good flavour though not great. Looking forward to going with friends and trying more. Could do with a slightly lower amount of sugar and more cream though. But maybe that's the difference between Gelato and ice cream.
Yummy gelato!!! Had the salted caramel one which was really good. They have got many flavors. Also it is served in cute little cups which look really nice.
Lovely ice cream and dessert cafe that is open till late. We enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe. The ice cream was good, the hot chocolate was not that good. We will definitely be back!
Great spot for Ice cream, waffles and coffee which all taste amazing. Great variety in terms of ice cream flavors and a few unique ones. The atmosphere is calm and romantic, making it a great place for a ice cream date.
Delicious ice cream and amazing coffee! We were welcomed with a smile. The oreo cheesecake ice cream is a winner. We can't wait to visit again.
Staff was very polite and helpful. The waffle was a bit dry but enjoyed the brownie and the wide range of ice creams they had. The whole vibe of the cafe was lovely. Clean and properly maintained
Oh my word, from the sandwich I had, to the freezo to the ice cream, everytjing was so divine. They need to open one or 2 in Joburg.

Love the ice cream here. Offers a variety of flavors. They have sit in or take away options. Prices are on the higher end but worth it for a once in a while treat. The service is very good.
The peanut butter smoothie called my name, I heard it and rushed over to Aroma .....2 days running. It is delicious and every tourist should try one
Update: it is years after I made my first post and i STILL stop for the peanut butter smoothie, when I go past Airoma.

One of my favourite coffee shops in Pretoria. Excellent coffee and in more than 9 years of going there regularly, I have not once been disappointed with the quality of the food, beverages or service.
Very easy accessible from the N1 highway, and for meeting people from various locations in the city. Close to main roads Lynnwood and Duncan. Free parking.
I had the New York Cheesecake and Nutella ice cream on waffle, I must admit the NY Cheesecake is the star of the show. The customer service was also excellent and the space is very aesthetic, highly recommend it for my sweet tooth friends and food bloggers or content creators.
