Their food is also very, their brownies are especially excellent.

Enjoy going to Aroma for breakfast. I always have the same because it's my favorite... Eggs Benedict, Peanut Butter Smoothie and cappuccino to end it off. It's lovely sitting outside on a hot day and great indoor on a cold day. The cakes are also delicious. The menu is a bit pricey but worth-it. We always receive great, friendly and fuss-free service.
This is a gem of a spot, stays open till late, perfect for a late night treat! Very friendly staff and a nice and cosy atmosphere. Best cappuccino and gelato in town... a must visit!!

Great little gem in Pretoria. I am glad we have more Cape Town esque places here. Salted caramel was a good flavour though not great. Looking forward to going with friends and trying more. Could do with a slightly lower amount of sugar and more cream though. But maybe that's the difference between Gelato and ice cream.
Yummy gelato!!! Had the salted caramel one which was really good. They have got many flavors. Also it is served in cute little cups which look really nice.
This has got to be the best Gelato place I have been too. They always have new and unique flavours to choose from and the waffles are tasty and light. The Nutikrust flavour is my favourite so far. Can't wait to go back again.

Saying that the cappuccino is amazing is an understatement. Is is the best cappuccino I have ever had in my life to date. Wow! Always served at the perfect temperature. NEVER disappoints! Just a bigger option would be great! ;-) The service is good. Always quick and there is always space to sit down. The shop is clean and simple and elegantly decorated. The ice cream / sorbet is the best in Pretoria and even better when eaten with their fluffy waffles. SO many options to choose from & each one I have tasted has been phenomenal. The blood orange sorbet and Raffaello ice cream is my favourite.

Giving their waffles yet another try and super disappointed. The waffles are COMPLETELY different than the first time I tried it. It is not fluffy, by crumbly and is like a hollow crust that crumbles to nothing. The ice cream is still a winner, but will never give the waffles another try.

Best Gelato on the block!! The waffles are not the greatest, but that lemon and poppy seed ice cream has me forgiving any short fall. I also love the Tuesday specials, really a cute touch.
This place is awesome!! I loved the gelato and the milkshakes most but they do have a variety of other things on their menu. Their Belgian waffles are amazing. The staff are great and friendly and the café has a very relaxed vibe.
I thought my regular Gelato spot was the best until my boyfriend took me to this place. Their gelato is amazing! I love that they have such a wide variety of flavours. My favourite flavour is Nutella but the pistachio is also to die for.

This is a great place for a sundae ice cream or coffee and waffles the ice creams are amazing and the coffee is to die for. The staff is friendly and eager to help you with your choice

We were really craving something to satisfy our sweet tooth last night. So whilst in Pretoria we decided to try this little place.
There are so many options to choose from its actually daunting. Service was okay as one of the servers really wasn't too helpful.
We got the New York Cheesecake and Chocolate Rice Krispy gelato, both with waffles. When we got our orders the waffles were actually nice and hot, which is just a nice small touch. They tasted really fresh and fluffy. The gelato was really good too, just a bit too sweet
Overall: I would return to try some more of the various flavours
As a sweet tooth I come into contact with a wide variety of gelato and ice cream, but Aroma is still one of my favourite places to get a sweet delight. Their flavours are out of this world and there is always a friendly face greeting you. If you feel down, I promise you a trip to this place will lift your spirits again.
Best ice cream I have ever had! There is a wide range of flavours. The best thing about the flavour is that they actually add in the ingredient for example the Farerro Rocher flavour has bits of Farrerro Rocher chocolate in it. My favorite flavour must be "nutty crust" love the vibe there ! Every single time I have gone I have been treated with a big smile and asked how I am doing.
After a disappointing start to the day at Le Kremery, this was the perfect way to end things. Thanks Claire Symington-Viljoen for making the suggestion.
I had a scoop each of Raffaello, Nutella and Kinderjoy... Need i say more! Even in the cold of winter this place is worth going to. Man that Gelato was good!

Indulgence in its truest form. Each of the flavors is a must try I think, I say this because each flavor just sound really interesting. My friend sampled the grapefruit and could not stop raving it's apparently very surprising I will be sure to try it on my next visit. I will defiantly be coming back on my next cheat. I love how fresh the space is chilled and laid back and the flavors are just amazing. I had the lemon poppy seed and ginger bread both really good flavors but because they both taste a bit "cakey" half way through I got a scoop of coffee and it gave it that awesome kick a cup of coffee gives in the morning I also love that the gingerbread had a tiny gingerbread it was such a crunchy surprise. My friend had the Oreo and blood orange the Oreo was so rich the citrus was a nice burst of freshness. When deciding on flavors we asked about the blood orange and the guy who served us said it's really good he then corrected himself and said all the flavors are actually very very nice. I really think it's a place where u need to pop in once in a while and be a bit adventurous you would not be disappointed.

Great experience at Aroma today! I have been hearing about this place for so long and decided to finally check it out. While deciding what to eat, I had a coffee milkshake - made with their delicious coffee gelato! I decided to go for the smoked chicken in a spinach wrap with beetroot and sweet potato chips on the side. Definitely worth every cent! I'll definitely be paying them another visit soon!
Absolutely delicious gelato. Beautifully unique flavours which change regularly to keep it fresh 🍦 often have some sort of perk/value add along with your purchase. Watermelon and Kinder are recommended 😍

I have been to Aroma on several occasions. I'm always been impressed with their gelato. My favorite flavours are Turkish Delight, Pistachio and Nutella.
Their cappuccinos are also very good.
I look forward to trying their waffles on my next visit there.

For the best waffles in town this is the place. Friendly staff and great service. Bonus they open late. There gelato ice cream is a must try as well with so many different flavours to choice from: nutella, Turkish delight, bubble gum and so mant more flavours. A must try place highly recommend it
Yum yum yum! The most amazzzing ice cream in the whole of Pretoria! I recommend the waffle with Oreo Ice cream. The device is always efficient & it always has a cool vibe.
What a waffle! I had a waffle with salted caramel gelato (and some syrup) and wowsers it was solid! Nothing to complain and while I don't eat much sugar, I was craving more after this. The salted caramel is a clear winner, beat my wife's chocolate scoop on her waffle by far. It did feel a bit like a takeaway pizza joint though, but still a bunch of seating outside it seems. Will. Be. Back!

It is always so hard to choose a flavour of ice cream so I end up combining two flavours. Each time I am there the flavours are different. Remember to ask for a tasting if you are unsure of the flavour. Such a great treat for any mood on any day !
Pretty little place to grab some ice-cream with freshly made waffles. They do need more tables as the place is quite busy. Great place for a sweet treat and great coffee.

What a quaint little shop! Was a very nice experience! Very nice selection of desserts and the waiters are extremely friendly! The only downside was the ladies behind the counter...had to ask a fee times for a very easy order
Is there a better way to cool off than with a delicious sorbet from Aroma?? I don't think so! I would highly recommend giving the mango and watermelon sorbets a try - they're to die for!

Boasting over 30 different flavored ice creams and sorbets, Aroma Gelato and Waffle Lounge is most certainly a must for every ice cream lover. Situated in Pretoria's hearty suburb of Brooklyn, aroma seductively captures the senses with its bold caramel rich waffle smell upon entering. We enjoyed the Nutella and Bar-one ice cream today. You haven't been for ice cream until you've been to this place. Oh and if you a sorbet lover you just have to try the basil and lemon sorbet. You hit a jackpot if you go and they do have the Ferraro and rafaello gelato.
Lemon sorbet!!! Their sorbet is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Such rich flavour, and texture. Their waffles are warm, and delicious. A great place to just wind down. I've been visiting this place regularly and I'm loving the nuttikrust flavour, as well as the granadilla sorbet. They can do no wrong, really!
To my surprise it was very busy on a Sunday afternoon. Kids looooove this place, it's like heaven. Variety of gelato flavors. The Belgium waffle I had was delicious. The service is great, very friendly staff.
I went to the Aroma Gelato & Waffle Lounge with my partner on a Friday afternoon and the first thing I noticed about it was the setting. It is quite small but it offers a really nice sitting area inside the lounge as well as outside. The service was impeccable with the staff being very friendly and the owner of the place, Uri was very interactive with customers. There's a very lovely and wide selection of gelato's to choose from and waffles as well.
I ate the plain waffle of which I regret a little bit because it was a tiny bit dry. I'd recommend the dessert waffles if anyone would like to try this place out. That's definitely what I'd go for when I go next. I can definitely say that it's one of my new fav hangout spots :)

This is the new yuppie hangout in Pretoria. The place to be seen, tagged and "selfied" in. Aroma does not only cater for the coffee-afficionado but also the Gelato-connoisseur with some "amateur" flavours for the non adventurous to the chocolate-addicts-spectrum.
The best Gelato in town!! Try the pistachio or the strawberry cheesecake! They usually have a Tuesday special running on facebook where you can get a free waffle or biscuit if you mention the special. The staff are friendly and helpful letting you taste a few flavours before you buy!

Aroma's gelatos really are fantastic, a bit pricey but what good gelato isn't?? I went for a cinnamon scoop in a cone, fiancé had the chocolate scoop in a cone and both were really mouthwatering-ly good but if I must say it - the chocolate was clearly the winner! I was too full for more but I'll definitely be back to try the lemon & orange, or maybe a waffle or hot chocolate, everything sounds amazing and I might just end up looking like a gelato because yes it's really that good!
The decor is interesting, high-backed shiny silver chairs and the biggest flatscreen tv inside showing fashion shows. Outside seating includes higher bar chairs and normal tables & chairs, and upstairs seating is also available.
Props for the cute added extra - all the customers received a little bright yellow box with a spring day message on and a mallowtof chocolate egg thing inside (can't remember the exact name of those for the life of me! ). And it was actually the day after spring day! Great visit and I'll be back soon!
Best ice cream and coffee for a late Saturday afternoon. Love the atmosphere, reminds me of Europe. Have the pistachio ice cream it is the best!

What better way to spend a Sunday night than having great ice cream! And that we definitely got at Aroma. It's R55 for 3 scoops but boy are they big scoops. I couldn't finish it :) they've got real nice flavours, you struggle to pick. Friendly and patient staff as well! I would recommend this for a nice afternoon outing any day

Better than Haagen Dazs I think. They make a really smooth and creamy ice cream with all sorts of flavours to choose from. They're perfectly situated from quite a few good restaurants so you can stop off and have some morning, pre afternoon, post midday or evening snack. The ice cream is also reasonably priced. All I can say is...Haagen Dazs what?
Always a good time! Aroma never leaves me disappointed, there is just something about it that leaves me a giggly little girl in this gelato shop. And the staff are so friendly!
I had my usual staple of Dark Chocolate, which is a delightful combination of bitter and sweet that gives you this feeling of being cuddled.
The Turkish Delight was the favourite of the evening, it was gorgeous. I'm not a huge fan of turkish delight but this one really blew me away.
The Candy Floss was good, and had little bits of candy floss in it. But the Bar One was underwhelming, the flavour was unfortunately too subtle.
As usual, the place was busy. I always have trouble finding a seat. Perhaps a few more tables are in order?
If you're looking for an amazing ice-cream experience in Pretoria then you have to head to Aroma Gelato & Waffle Lounge. The waffle and ice-cream combination is the best because they have incredible ice-cream. The thing I love most about this place is the sorbet. Get your hands on the blood orange sorbet if you ever see it there. You'll also enjoy stunning decor and good service.

Today the weather in Pretoria had been mild and sunny. Friday afternoon and the perfect time for an ice cream to start the weekend with.
On entering you smell the seductive caramel of baking waffles.
I chose Limoncello and Gingerbread ice cream in a sugar cone. Limocello is bright yellow and sharp lemony. Gingerbread tastes just like Ginger Snap biscuits. I liked Salted Caramel too, but the White Chocolate had a grainy texture.
Open till 22:00, even in winter it is packed with a mostly young crowd.

Probably the most hipster spot in Pretoria. It is so popular that you space is limited but it stays an amazing place with extremely delicious gelato! I have been to Italy ... Aroma's gelato still stays the best!
I want to click "been here" 100 times. DELICIOUS! I have a few favorites - I have a sweet chocolate tooth. Milo flavour top with white chocolate coated rice crispies. The Oreo flavour. Definitely the salted caramel and you can't go wrong when you ask for Nutella. When I'm feeling adventurous ginger bread man is the way to go with an actual ginger bread man on top. Eat the ice cream by itself or chuck it on top of a waffle. YUM! Also if you mention their Facebook special on any Tuesday you might get extra ice cream or a special treat for free!
A busy mid winter Sunday afternoon can only be good news for these guys. A scoop of ice cream a bit on the pricey side though. But delicious none the less. Service with a smile - always welcome. !
Decided to try out the icecream, just a pity the selections were so limited and none of the original flavours were there. Icecream was a little too rich for my palette but they got the taste right. Unfortunately when icecream leaves you thirsty and you are desperately looking for a mint to take out the flavour after a while then there is a bit of a problem. I feel the decor was a little too much for the icecream theme and the pricing a little hicked when you just want one scoop to try out in comparison to other gelato store prices.
Coming down from a party weekend couldn't have a better end. Friendlies greet you behind the counter in the small loud space with a modern clean look. They know their stuff so ask them for opinions. Had the banoffee waffle and it was splendid. Definitely worth a visit and return.
Probably the best ice cream I have ever tasted. Quite pricey but it is definitely worth it. Real Italian Gelato and with so many different flavours to choose from, expect to take some time before being able to make a decision. The manager is very generous in letting you sample the Gelato and I like the fact that new, interesting flavours are being brought in constantly.
Great variety of Gelato, two scoops are enough for the average person. Taste is great. I really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is also quite nice.

Best ice cream in pretoria by far, constantly changing flavours and makaing up innovative flavours. Not stingy on the scoops and reasonably price. Stays open quite late in the evenings which is a perfect way to round off a long day. Only problem is lack of seating for customers and generally having to park in the street as the parking lot is always full.
Aroma has an amazing atmosphere and brings something new to Pretoria. Their coffee is great but their waffles and Ice Cream is the best! I highly recommend this place.
Hands down the best gelato in Pretoria. It is a bit expensive, but the service is great and the place has a very nice vibe. They also have great specials on Tuesdays. It's a nice place to grab a waffle or scoop of gelato on your way home, as Aroma stays open till late.
Wow. This is by far the best fix of sweetness in Pretoria. I had seen the sign and drove by not even thinking to stop. I won't lie, the location isn't ideal. It's in a small complex on Lynnwood Road, close to Hatfield.
The waffles are so good! Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I tried the Nutella waffle, and boy were they not shy with the Nutella. The gelato is comparable to the kind I've tasted in Italy. The Pistachio is a must try, in a sugar cone of course :)

One of my favourite coffee shops in Pretoria. Excellent coffee and in more than 9 years of going there regularly, I have not once been disappointed with the quality of the food, beverages or service.
Very easy accessible from the N1 highway, and for meeting people from various locations in the city. Close to main roads Lynnwood and Duncan. Free parking.
I had the New York Cheesecake and Nutella ice cream on waffle, I must admit the NY Cheesecake is the star of the show. The customer service was also excellent and the space is very aesthetic, highly recommend it for my sweet tooth friends and food bloggers or content creators.
