Amazing view out on the ocean and the smell of the ocean while enjoying your food and coffee make it feel so relaxing. A fireplace also adds coziness and warmth to the place. I will definitely visit this lovely restaurant again to try out the seafood.
Location, location, location. With this view of the ocean everything else fades away. The word shabby comes to mind when considering the restaurant and the service. For instance the mens water closet lock was broken and overall things look a bit tired, but so what. The food is good, the staff is friendly and the view is amazing so it kinda trumps everything else.
We had an amazing time at Barnacles, delicious food, excellent service and the most amazing views. We enjoyed every moment and can definitely highly recommend this restaurant 👌

Location. Location. Location. Situated at the end of Elizabeth road in Sea View is a wonderful restaurant with the best Sea views you can imagine. The waves rolling and crashing add an ambience that nothing can beat. While super pods of dolphins swim up and down the coast almost continuously, riding waves and even leaping out of the water when they're having fun. The servers were nothing but wonderful and the food (we had a sea food extravaganza, hake, calamari and queen prawns) was delicious. Match that with a good draught beer and you have an experience that's tough to beat.
Amazing view. Perfect place for whale spotting on a summer's day - we saw a whole school of whales the whole time we were there. Bring your binoculars!
Fast and Friendly service. We had the Jalapeño balls for a starter which was very good. And the Calamari was quite nice as well.

What a lovely experience. The location and view you can't put a price too. It is breath taking to say the least. There is pods of dophines that swim up and down the coast. So if you lucky you will see them and I have also spotted whales a few times. The manager is a lovely lady who has been running the business for over 22 years. It gets really busy because it's a locals favorite spot. So be patient you will be served. The food is also a treat and there is a warm loving atmosphere and all the staff are working hard to make you happy. It is a old house that has been converted into restraunt and has a really rustic feel. I will be back for the crayfish😉. See photos below.
Marijuana, our waitress was amazing and the food was great as we looked over the pods of dolphins passing in the ocean. Best service we have had at an establishment in a while. Ten outa' ten!
