Amazing view out on the ocean and the smell of the ocean while enjoying your food and coffee make it feel so relaxing. A fireplace also adds coziness and warmth to the place. I will definitely visit this lovely restaurant again to try out the seafood.

Location, location, location. With this view of the ocean everything else fades away. The word shabby comes to mind when considering the restaurant and the service. For instance the mens water closet lock was broken and overall things look a bit tired, but so what. The food is good, the staff is friendly and the view is amazing so it kinda trumps everything else.

We had an amazing time at Barnacles, delicious food, excellent service and the most amazing views. We enjoyed every moment and can definitely highly recommend this restaurant 👌

Took friends for lunch. The, not often seen Gurnard was the lunch special. Enjoyed by all. Reasonable priced and large portions. It was worth the trip, particularly for overseas visitors. You may even see a whale and dolphin 🐬

Location. Location. Location. Situated at the end of Elizabeth road in Sea View is a wonderful restaurant with the best Sea views you can imagine. The waves rolling and crashing add an ambience that nothing can beat. While super pods of dolphins swim up and down the coast almost continuously, riding waves and even leaping out of the water when they're having fun. The servers were nothing but wonderful and the food (we had a sea food extravaganza, hake, calamari and queen prawns) was delicious. Match that with a good draught beer and you have an experience that's tough to beat.

Amazing view. Perfect place for whale spotting on a summer's day - we saw a whole school of whales the whole time we were there. Bring your binoculars! Fast and Friendly service. We had the Jalapeño balls for a starter which was very good. And the Calamari was quite nice as well.

What a lovely experience. The location and view you can't put a price too. It is breath taking to say the least. There is pods of dophines that swim up and down the coast. So if you lucky you will see them and I have also spotted whales a few times. The manager is a lovely lady who has been running the business for over 22 years. It gets really busy because it's a locals favorite spot. So be patient you will be served. The food is also a treat and there is a warm loving atmosphere and all the staff are working hard to make you happy. It is a old house that has been converted into restraunt and has a really rustic feel. I will be back for the crayfish😉. See photos below.

Marijuana, our waitress was amazing and the food was great as we looked over the pods of dolphins passing in the ocean. Best service we have had at an establishment in a while. Ten outa' ten!

I am not from the coast. But I really love the sea. Barnacles offer a true coastal dining experience. The atmosphere is serene complimented with excellent food. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you for the experience.

Amazing restaurant hidden from outside eyes but with so great atmosphere near coast. You can enjoy your meal right from the fire and looking for dolphins. Wow! And inside they have a fireplace. So nice.

One of the best views in the world. Good food and service while you watch the southern ocean swells being surfed by dolphins while whales seem to always be swimming past. Beautiful drive along the coast from PE to get there.

Nice spot, great view, it was a lovely day. The vibe is very relaxed, it has a rustic feel and staff are very nice. We ordered a very basic quick meal of chicken strips with chips and calamari with chips. The food was great particularly the calamari was nicely cooked, chicken was also nice, but if I had to knit pick I'd say a little too much, chips were also a bit over cooked for me (some dark and hard) but all in all it was really nice and we would happily go again.

Beautiful hiden gem. On the day I arrived they had no power (actually had had no power for 2 days) but that did not stop them from being up beat and friendly. They have inside seating, nice small bar on the left side. Outside covered seating and uncovered, including a separate smoking section. Lots of choice for your needs.

Insanely good sea-food restaurant. Seriously up there are the best plate of fish I've ever had. Maybe it was just the good vibes, or the somehow better wine, but the whole eve was fantastic. Warren and his colleagues run a tight ship. They do close the kitchen at 8 but will take orders up to the bell which was great for our party.

Lovely restaurant with a beautiful ocean view wherever you sit. They've got a lovely bathroom with comfortable changing areas for those with kids.Our waitress was quite friendly and attentive considering she had so many tables. We had the savoury mince with chips and calamari with chips. Both were very good and quite flavourful although the cheese sauce on the pancake was a bit grainy. Can't remember the full name of the cocktail, Whale watcher something. It was good as well, perfect for those who don't want cocktails that are too sweet.
