The entire experience was amazing! Right from making the reservation (a simple fb message) and our knowledgeable and interpersonally sensitive waiter to the food which was to die for! Lots of vegetarian options for us and our waiter’s recommendations were spot on! The pork belly and Muse bowls came highly recommended by friends and the risotto and the falafel butter curry were just superb! The desserts - the caramel fondant - amazing and unlike any dessert you’ve ever tried!! Compliments to the chef and waiters - we’ll be back for more!
One night in PE whilst working last week and checked to see where to eat - FB and TripAdvisor were unanimous and I can see why.
Dinner for 4 and each of us thought this was our best meal of the week from CPT to PE on our travels. My short rib with corn salsa and chipotle aioli was packed with flavour - the corn and the aioli providing relief to the sticky meaty short rib - the smoked pork belly also went down well as well as the lamb shank
My dessert of caramel fondant, chocolate ganache, salt, almonds and vanilla ice cream was a Magnolia computed symphony of toasty comforting and indulgent flavours and my colleagues Dark chocolate delice with Guinness ice cream also got rave reviews
It’s a long way from London to come for dinner but I would recommend anyone local or visiting who loves flavour without fuss, and service without stuffiness to visit but do book - rammed on a Thursday evening and deservedly so
Muse has become my number 1 favourite restaurant in the Eastern Cape. The food presentations never disappoints, the food itself is devine as I’ve had most of the what’s on the menu, there’ll be new additions soon I was told (can’t wait), the atmosphere is always giving positive vibes and calming. The staff is great 😌 …… I always recommend this place to all friends visiting, one day I’ll take my Mom here, she’ll love it. Keep it up guys!!
Went to the new location and it looks much better than the previous one. The steak was nice and tender and the mushrooms on the side were very nice. Vanilla Pod Crème Brulee Mille Feuille was really nice amd sweet the strawberries really added to the flavour and was nice and crispy and overall probably one of the best places to get steak in PE.
It was my first time trying Muse and we had such a great time. The food was out of this world and the level of service was impeccable.
I was invited to share a friend's birthday celebrations. This place is awesome! The food was absolutely top notch and the service unbeatable. 5 Star for certain. Keep it up. Great high-five to our waiter... thanks for a delightful evening.
I was just so happy to find a good, delicious 'fine-dining' restaurant in PE!!! They have the highest rating and we just have to try it. We were not wrong.
The restaurant is situated in what I called a not-so-busy melville-looking area and very wooden/leather-styled restaurant. We were there at 16h00ish so the restaurant was not busy and they were setting up for dinner service. When we looked through their menu, we preferred their starter options more. We ordered 4 starters, 2 mains and 3 desserts. What was nice is that the two starters we started with was light in taste and the last two had the stronger flavours. The mains were also light but very flavourful. The desserts were the bestest; not too sweet, the right balance of sweet to salty with a nice cup of cappuccino to go with it. Overall, we had a wonderful meal.
The service from the waiters were good and friendly. Their prices are on the high side considered it is fine-dining but not ridiculous expensive. It's worth the money.
The chef takes pride in his creations. Lamb shank was brilliant. Best I have ever had at a restaurant. A few us ordered the same and each plate had the same exceptional quality. Will definitely recommend the menu and the establishment. Service was fantastic too.
Excellent food! I had the best butter chicken ever there. The service is great, too. Really a fun place to have a great meal! We will be back!
Work function. Our waiter was just amazing. Friendly, helpful, not intrusive but available when needed. The food was excellent. I'm still daydreaming about the chocolate torte days later.

Beginning with the service: Josh was our waiter, who was super friendly and helpful. I went with the beer recommendation (Jack Black, see picture) he gave me, which turned out to be great.
Food: I had the Rainbow Platter (see picture) which was not only prepared beautifully, but also absolutely delicious.
Atmosphere: The cooking team works in an open kitchen, which adds to the great vibe of the restaurant. The interior (i liked the ceiling) and the music selection (not too loud, you can have a good conversation) contributed their part to the great atmosphere.
