I booked at Waterside Lodge and I had a pleasant stay. The room was so affordable and I was surprisingly comfortable 😊. Had dinner at Grotto Restaurant and the food was so delicious, but the portion of the food did not match the price😅quite expensive. Thank you so much Piet Retief.

We visited one evening for supper. I ordered prawns, which were delicious and well cooked. My husband had a burger, which he said was a bit over cooked and he felt it had too much sauce. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The entry to the restaurant is quite dark.

Good prices for BIG portions and the MOST delicious food. There's a variety to choose from the menu. The friendly staff is well informed on anything that's on special and on the menu. My husband & I LOVE to go there - by far the best in town! BEST food; NICE venue; GOOD music; ROMANTIC and COZY...and the owners are there to welcome everyone that enters GROTTO :-D You deserve 10 Stars!
