This was our 2nd visit and once again enjoyed our special treat. The hosts/owners are exceptionally hospitable and helpful, During breakfast time we were given some most useful information about our intended route for that day. Breakfast was, as always, sumptuous. We had a delightfully-situated, well-appointed room overlooking the dam and thotoughly enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to our next visit!

Arrived short-notice. Very friendly receipt and hosts. Overnight chalet spotless, quiet, and private. Enjoyed a great dinner. Overall very good value for money. Can fully recommend.
This place is absolutely fantastic for the entire family. The house was really clean, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We immediately felt so at home. The animals kept the kids entertained especially Jessie, their resident dog. The place is not far from the cango caves and not far from the town. I highly recommend this place, especially for a family with small kids.
Husband and I arrived last night, just to learn that we were upgraded to the honeymoon tented suite on the hill!.. What a pleasant surprise being married for 36 years!.. It was beyond beautiful, luxury bedroom and bathroom, complete with chandelier, and outdoor shower. We felt so spoilt.. Dinner was delicious, nothing to fault. We will be back for sure, perhaps with the grandbabies this time!.. Thank you so much, this is indeed a special place.
These guys attention to detail is amazing. I’ve been all around South Africa for 2 weeks and this was the best stay I’ve had. Quiet place, surrounded by nature, with very friendly staff and great food. We had heated mattresses and small flowers waiting for us in our bedrooms. Absolutely recommend it!
It was, so much more than we expected. Breath taking views, waking up to seeing buck graze and farm animals for the children to enjoy. 2 Lovely pool areas! Our self catering unit was beautiful, clean and very well organized. Friendly staff. I can highly recommend anyone of any age to visit Old Mill!

Just imagine that you are able to have a hot bubble bath with a view of the mountain top while your doors are open in this day and age in 2020!!
You're safe and secure and your only concern are the bugs and of course the one and only loyal bug Mr Mosquito!!! Come prepared with mosquito spray😁😁😁
We stayed in the Honeymoon cabin, overlooking the small dam. Lovely experience. Friendly reception, very comfortable lodgings. Pay extra for a very worthwhile buffet breakfast. We did it twice. Would not recommend the cabin for small children. Not safe enough. But there are enough other options and children are really catered for with a play park, animals and huge lawns to play on. We couldn't make use of the restaurant but it looked great!
I give it 4.8 out of 5. It was really nice staying there. The staff members were nice and welcoming. The rooms were clean and very neat. The bedding was neat and each bed had electric blanket. Each room had a heater. Almost everything you need it's there.
The accomodation was awesome and very comfortable. The tented room was a massive treat for the kids and the outdoor shower was the cherry on the top. The other accomodation was equally comfortable. The receptionist George seemed to be unwelcoming and irritated that we arrived an hour earlier. But I did try and indicate that we knew we were early and had planned to have lunch at the restaurant first and then book in.
The breakfast was okay, but seemed to be strictly overseen by the Manageress. A bit overbearing and slightly intimidating, I am not sure why she has to be marshaling everyone like troops.
The food was great in the restaurant and the wait staff and cleaners were very pleasant. Will definitely stay here again and its ideally situated between Oudtshoorn and the Caves.
What a lovely place to stay at. Very welcoming, and accomodating. The family cabin that we stayed in was well set up, and comfortable. We were very happy with the facilities.
The restaurant was excellent. The options there were good, and all of our meals were perfectly prepared.
The nice thing about the location, is that it is close to the Cango Caves, while not being to far outside of town.
