We visited Wimpy Knysna on Saturday 23 September 2023.
My husband and I, travel a lot, and obviously have visited quite an extensive amount of restaurants and eateries. Never before have we experienced such a warm welcoming atmosphere, friendliness, fast efficient service and delicious good food, like we received from Wimpy Knysna. The personnel, welcomes you with a warm smile, our waitress addressed us in very good Afrikaans, even though she is from black origin, unfortunately I can't remember her name, but she left us with life long fond memories. Well done and Thank you team-Wimpy Knysna!!
The waitress Elsie is a force to be reckoned with. The manager went to everytable to see if everyone was happy. As an ex restaurant manager, I was impressed.
I always wanted to visit a Wimpy restaurant because I heard so many stories about it from my mum. So when we visited South Africa and we saw one, it was a no brainer for us! The food and service were lovely. Four years on and we still mention it!
Absolutely great service and friendly staff! My orders are usually complicated and there was no problem in catering to my whims! Very friendly, neat and clean. The manager is on the floor and actively involved!! Our favourite go-to!
