My favourite dining spot in town! Great variety of meals to dine solo or share - all prepared in a wholesome traditional style. I like that you can customize your sides. Service was superb. If you are a vegetarian/vegan, maybe not the ideal spot to grab a meal)

Spent my Monday afternoon here for Mohodu cause I was craving it.
The restaurant has an African traditional feel and the food was amazing
The only problem is that the waiters will just leave you there and they won’t check if you are enjoying your service or not but overall I would rate the food good.

We were looking for a Chesa Nyama place that was not "commercial" around the area and came across this one!<br/><br/>The food was great, the portions were big and the pricing of the food was on point! The owner came to check up on us personally which was a very great touch with regards to customer service.<br/><br/>Please stock more Dombolo's next time as that was what we were looking most forward to. Either than that will definitely be back again.

Was desperately looking for somewhere that was not a franchise, and that was open at 07:00. This spot was clean and it looked friendly. Coffee and a "Vetkoek" for breakfast cost a whole R10.00. The Vetkoek was awesome - warm and crispy served with a little sugar bowl for dipping. The coffee was strong and hot - but unfortunately not filter! <br/><br/>A steady stream of customers came through while I was sitting there. Clearly a popular spot.<br/><br/>The menu is extensive and very reasonably priced - should I be back in the area again, I will try to make this a lunch stop. Beef stew, lamb stew or oxtail? 😃
