We come here almost once a month recently as a big group of anywhere from 5-20 people. The food is good but the sushi could use less rice. The buffet is good though and has an amazing and decent variety to it. The custard bao are worth it every time!
Rejoice is an absolute gem!
This is 100% the place to go if you're in the mood for unpretentious sushi by the ton and at a steal of a price. The buffet is perfectly satisfying with a very good selection included (far more than average), and you can simply top it up with some signature items if the mood calls for it. The menu also offers a variety of other meals, including set menus.
The restaurant is pleasantly decorated, and the vibe is always relaxed. Two indicators of Rejoice being a good restaurant are that there are ALWAYS customers (most nights they are full) and that their staff have been around for years. Furthermore, this spot is well-frequented by the local Asian community, who come in groups with their families. What more is there to say then! š
If I'm absolutely forced to give any constructive feedback, it is that there could perhaps be some background music to add to the atmosphere. Also, the toilets could do with some more attention and disposable hand towels. Otherwise, it's a great spot with food that delights.
Have always enjoyed the sushi from here. I havenāt eaten in, usually go in and order. Itās not normally a long wait to get the food and I find it really affordable. The food is well presented and the sushi is well constructed (donāt fall apart when you pick it up or dunk it in soya sauce). We havenāt visited in the past 2 years but was so happy to see the food just as great as it has always been. The prawn spring rolls we got on the side were awesome too!
