This has been on my want to go places for a while now, and we finally visited. It's a lovely place for date night/day. The deco is great, not too chilled, and not too fancy. It has that nice balance to it. Anyway, we ordered a cookies and cream milkshake and a Chai latte then we had the livers for starters, and it was so good that we would have licked the plate if it were acceptable, and we ate it with our complimentary bread and butter. For mains, we ordered the Lamb shank with mash, and our waiter was kind enough to advise that it was big enough for two people to share, and it definitely was. It was a delicious, hearty meal. We were so full from it that we had no space for dessert, overall, and fantastic experience. The food is a bit pricey, but you're paying for good food, so I'd definitely recommend it.

This is probably the finest establishment I have had the pleasure of dining at. I personally recommend the Fillet steak, oh and remind the waitrons to rather bring you a butter knife as a steak knife is not needed. So tender the knife simply glides through. Lovely staff and a quiet atmosphere. All round an awesome evening was had.

We were with a group of 21 and we had limited choices (they arranged that) so service was good and quick. Food was OKish and the restaurant was cosy and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful

Very expensive though, has a 5 star hotel feel to it which it is not.
For just the 2 of us our bill came to R 900.00 for dinner and a couple of drinks.
Nice place for a romantic date night, not ideal for a group of friends going out unless you can comfortably afford the prices.
Parking and entrance is a nightmare especially when it is busy as it shares an entrance with Spur.

Onlangs gegeten in dit restaurant met groep vrienden en heb heerlijk avond gehad. Kwaliteit eten zeer goed en vakkundige maar vooral vriendelijke service. Ondanks de drukte verliep alles op rolletjes. Gaan hier zeker terugkomen !
Went there for dinner the other day with group of friends and we had a very pleasant evening. Quality food very good en well trained and friendly staff. Despite the business everything went very well. We certainly wil go back there again !

Fine dinning is what to expect, pricey, but worth it. Food was Devine one of the best peri peri baby chicken I had, moist and devinly seasoned, steaks prepared perfectly. The service on the other hand started off excellent and dropped once the restaurant started to get busy. Very well decorated.

Perfect night out with our group!!<br/>We had excellent starters such as home made feta spring rolls, chicken liver peri peri, beef carpaccio and various soups. <br/>The main courses were perfectly cooked various pieces of meat. Together with an extended wine list and excellent service we were all satisfied. <br/>We defenitely would come back👍👍

I ate here for the third time yesterday. I love this place! The decorations and the garden area are so beautiful. The bread is delicious, as are the other dishes and wines I have tasted so far. The staff and management are friendly and helpful, the menu offers plenty of choice and there is a lovely area where you can have small private dinners as well. I am definitely coming back.

As I work nearby I eat here very often. Service, setting and meat are the best in Boksburg. By far. This is not your standard steak restaurant as they give their dishes always a bit of a different angle.

Finally! A beautiful, classy venue with great food and service in the East Rand. Fabulous selection of local wines, and meat lovers: they really do have the best beef! Loved dining al fresco in the garden. Attended a whisky tasting and the private dining room is an absolute win for dinner parties and special events.

Excellent food, loved rump steak, it melted like butter in my mouth. It was accompanied with delicious, velvety smooth mash potatoes with a mustard sauce. Enjoyed with a lovely glass of red wine. Need to go back soon.

The cappuccino is crap. Watered down and very little froth. No fine dining experience so far. ( with a bunch of people walking through the deck (maybe 30+ people) after a seminar, walking in between and bumping us) Waitress has a couldn't care less attitude and it seems as if the chef feels the same way, ordered a Patagonian calamari salad with a lime and chilli vinaigrette. It came beautifully prepared. But, no vinaigrette, instead cheap ass sweet chilli sauce. Supervisor came to apologize and said it was there mistake, she has said that our orange juice is on the house. Well, mains were.....a great big.... Disappointment. How unsatisfying. North African spiced chicken breast was more like a dull herbed braaied chicken piece. The basmati rice was good though. Sirloin steak lacked any seasoning. Oh wait, the sauce with the chicken breast, a toxic mixture of sweet chilli and cheap tomatoe sauce. PLEASE, I BEG YOU ,DO NOT COME HERE. RATHER GO TO SPUR NEXT DOOR. (BTW... I don't like spur very much).

I only have occasion to eat here when I study over for business... Very busy tonight so had to wait for a table - bad planning on my part so no judgments! The pork belly was delicious - not my usual menu choice, but definitely not regretted. Service could be more attentive - I think the service team may be a little thin on the ground - and I do think the fairly conventional desserts are very overpriced at R55, especially even by Cape Town standards. However, I would still recommend for a hearty meal with a very extensive selection of aged meats.

Visited twice and had a decent meal on note occasions. The rib-eye on the bone was delicious, as was the regular fillet. Also had the lamb steak with mash, which was cubes of lamb rump. Delicious but a little fatty, and was over-cooked unfortunately. Great potential if they can get the steak cooked to order. Would consider it a little pricey by normal Boksburg standards.

Found this gem by accident. Was so in love with the starter I forgot to get a pic. Plated 3-course menu was exceptional. Service was unobtrusive and efficient, ambience was inviting, not pretentious and stuffy. Great decor and great wine selection. Go there for date night or a business dinner but make a reservation first to avoid conferencing crowds. @silverbirch

I actually preferred this spot when it was the local grill. The steak and beer battered onions rings with their house rub was divine but now their offerings etc dont seem to be the same and sadly the day we took my mom there half the stuff we ordered was not available. Its a place i wont go back too. Even though when i studied through a certain agency they used them for our lunch and it was divine but i think its also prior to the name change.

The service was excellent. The highlight of my meal was one of the free range steaks. They are so good and a real treat. I honestly spent the whole of the next day thinking about how good that steak was. I will definitely be back.
