Yummy and quiet place to go. I had bacon n banana toasted sandwich. My husband Thomas Short had a burger with mushrooms. My mother had avo with rye bread... we had Apple crumble and lemon merguine. I vote to go there again. .

Lovely small and cosy little coffee shop in the heart of Parkview. A home away from home. Delicious breakfasts, light lunches, pies, wrapps, quiches, soups and hot specials daily. The best red velvet and chocolate fudge in town! Warm and friendly service. Delicious coffee. Kiddies menu. Incorporating a home industry with a variety of cakes, precooked meals, biscuits , birthday cakes, party platters and more. Lovely place, well worth a visit!

This is a no-fuss-no-muss kind of place ☕️ The Foyer has been a Parkview staple for many years and it provides delicious & simple meals at very reasonable prices. The ambience is friendly and the service is quick and never without a smile 😊 If your looking for a quick, reliable, delicious and well-prices bite to eat, this should be your go-to (my whole meal came to R60.. Including tip!) I love The Foyer & no one will ever beat their Chicken Mayo toaster 😉

While this is a charming little coffee shop, it is sadly let down by its location. Many of the establishments on this strip suffer from the same problem- a lack of natural light. This coffee shop is always dark and a bit gloomy and, more sadly still, the service I've gotten here has matched the general atmosphere.
However, the coffee is quite good and they do have some lovely baked treats like lovely cupcakes which are great to buy for a picnic or birthday party.
Was on my way to work when I saw the Foyer was open & as I needed to buy cake, I stopped in.
What a delight - I ordered a take-away coffee which was made just as I had asked including having the sugar added. The waitresses were efficient and lovely - it was no trouble for them to help me carry my cakes to the car.
Coffee rated excellent - service exceptional .. I think I'll go back for my coffee, it got my morning off to a brilliant start !
Fantastic breakfast menu variety and the food was excellent (and decently priced).
It's much quieter than some of the other coffee venues on that strip of road and the location is full of character.
The people were friendly, coffee was good and we will definitely be back again.
The shop also sells home cooked frozen meals (single portions or family sized).
The coffee shop is inside a building with a very interesting market that's worth a look around.
A hidden gem, amazing service, food delicious and fresh, coffee is great. French toast is an absolute favorite, never disappointed. Plenty space and distancing between tables. Variety of dishes for everyone. Don't wait a long time to be assisted or served.
I often get a takeaway breakfast bun from The Foyer Coffee Shop. I tried the sit down breakfast today and it was delicious. Smoked salmon, poached egg on a hash brown with smashed avo. The coffee is great too.

It's on Tyrone Avenue. Parkview. In a small building that used to be a movie Theatre but turned into a trinket, vintage, Furniture and African attires Lake side Market. Doesn't overlook Zoo lake but it's 3 streets up.
Amazing little restaurant. Owner / Managers were super accommodating. Waiter was extremely efficient and friendly. A little cold but owners did their best to secure us a warm spot. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
