Came here for lunch with my mother our waiter was Ntobie and she was really great. I ordered the 6 King prawns and my mother ordered the 12 queen prawns. Unfortunately we had to cut our date short because of bees even though Ntobie tried bringing the coffee to help chase the bees away but that didn’t work. I then ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri which was very sweet (too sweet). I really didn’t enjoy it. Either than that the service was really great
Went out for dinner with my soulmate at ocean basket rosebank n the service was very good our waiter Dee was excellent he kept on checking on us ..we opted on mussels starter n shrimp tempura it came out the way we wanted n for mains we decided to order platter for 2 and we wer not dissapointed at all ....good pricing good food good service keep up the good work i ll definatly be bck to try smethng else

I really enjoyed the approach of skillet plating and the food was good for a lower tier chain.
This was my first time at Ocean Basket since they relocated at Rosebank.
I must say it was a perfect evening with a very friendly waitress, Jane, who served us.
The food portions was up to standard and delicious. It was the first time I ordered my seafood cajun style, and from now on I will always order my Ocean Basket meals to be prepared thís way!
Really enjoyed the experience, and would absolutely recommend this branch if you enjoy seafood as much as I do!

I liked the new location. Sushi was great, food overall good. Service was friendly and good although desserts took longer to arrive than expected
Staff is friendly. Food is good, but seems to differ at times. Sometimes I really enjoy my platter, sometimes I feel like the taste I'm expecting is not there.
Ocean Basket is my go to place when I'm in the mood for good seafood 😋😋😋 I always go for their platters😋😋😋😋 love this Rosebank establishment, it's very small, however, the service and food is very good😋😋
I just want to compliment the integrity of this restaurant. We were served raw fish which was shocking for me but when we told the manager he apologized profusely and gave me a full refund on the entire meal and not just the fish. They did not complain or try fight with me. Good thumbs up for correcting a mistake.
Had a craving. Calamari. Our waitress was amazing and understood the assignment. Everything came at once as it was ready as I was starving!!!! Yoh. Famished I tell you. Our waitress was friendly, efficient, reliable ...didn't hang around just when we needed service she was there. Great mom daughter date. Thank you! Definitely going back again!
Great place to get your seafood fix! Big on variety as well as the food portions. Reasonably priced and the seafood is fresh! Clean and comfortable place to dine at, with friendly staff ready to provide recommendations as required.
Good seafood options, but not too many for vegetarians; haloomi cheese and salad was good. People running and serving ate great. Good Ambience.
Had a sushi lunch with some friends and our waiter was really friendly and attended to us even though we waited quite a while for the food to arrive. We ordered platters to share because honestly their prices are a little high for their sushi options. The sushi itself was great but not the best I've had. The overall experience was good though.

This place is a paradise for fish lovers! My favourite dish is definitely a big portion of salmon with fried calamaris and prawns. The prices are very affodable for such huge portions. Also they have some really delicious coctails and cider you can order in addition to your meal! 😉👍🏾
New location, very comfortable, excellent decor, bright and upmarket good service, food tasty, management and staff friendly and accommodating overall very good experience and well worth the visit! Enjoy
Had a great experience at Ocean Basket Rosebank on a busy Saturday evening. The waiter was attentive and portion sizes were very good. This branch has been under the same management for many years and the food, portions and service is still fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal!

The food was good. In full transparency,I don't really like seafood, but the Fried Calamari and Famous Fish and Chips was great. The service was amazing! Waitress was very accommodating, not only with me but with her other clients as well I noticed. I Very acknowledgeable about the menu. This was a great experience.
