Such awesome people! Great vibe even on a Sunday morning. The art is next level. Street photographer's dream with all the characters walking around. Good coffee at Home of the Bean. Good security. A bit of clean up needed on roads.

Fun experience. There are a lot of different restaurants to choose from based on your personal vibe and budget. The precinct caters for everyone. A definite must visit with your friends.

The vibiest safest place in the east of jozi. Very popular and LGBT+ friendly. Tourists love this place and if you got some Tourist cliché stuff to sell I highly recommend opening a roadside stall and exhibit your business.

Loved the art in the area. I consider walking around Maboneng safe! So you don't necessarily need a guide and you can just follow the green 'M' signs. I did find a guide quite nice to learn more about the area though.
