Teddy is the best talented baker I have ever come across. The difference between Teddy and other bakers are that Teddy can bake anything, from wedding cakes, cookies, French pastries, local South African koeksisters, bread you name it. I don't think there isn't anything he can't bake. And the way he packages and decorates his products, is just the cherry on the cake (no pun intended)

Just Teddy catered my 60th birthday, wow what an experience, most delicious food, beautiful decor and the best , friendly and professional service. I highly recommend them.
Enjoyed the overall experience here, the staff is very friendly. Thank you Afro for hosting us and for your patience with us. We were here for our bookclub meeting. The food took a bit long but we were a big group so it's understandable. Loved the presentation of the food, and the signature dish (prawn and chorizo pasta) was definitely 👌 delicious 😋. Teddy is very down to Earth. Thank you for such a lovely place.
I had booked the high tea for 3 of us. I must say the revamp of the decor is mindblowing. The scent is that of a spa very relaxing and calming. We were shown to our table. The ladies are very attentive and very friendly. We're given a starter of falafel and yogurt with zaatar and mimosas. Next, they brought out the mezze platters and sweet treats. We're given a run-through of what was served, and I must say, for the price, the food was a lot. We ordered the veg option of the high tea and were spoiled for choice. There was so much leftover. There was a special "Happy Birthday" surprise of a cup cake and song. The ambiance is definitely nothing short of regality. I truly appreciate the high level of service and attention to detail. I've since returned to Just Teddy by invitation from Teddy and can confidently change my reviews rating. The experience the second time round was great ! Food was prepared well and this time had the flavours which was missing the first time around .
My first time it seems was just a bad day , seems even great restaurants have them as well. My take away from this experience , is that you should at least try the place twice if the first time was not a great experience , but give it a month or so later before you return for the redo experience . We are all only human .
I'd strongly recommend giving this restaurant a go , you will not regret it !!

I visited on the 17th , we were quite excited to go, having not been there before.
We placed our drinks orders , our waiter was very attentive and friendly , giving service with a smile.
My Scarlett Chai was made really well.
I ordered the Luxury Scramble, which was well prepared , but the Scramble egg didn't have much of a flavor , unless it was by design and the rest of the dish would provide the flavor. A little disappointing though. Since the menu said it was their "renowned Scramble eggs" .
My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict. She enjoyed it.
However, the macaroons we ordered afterward were not great at all.
It was more like eating a very sweet tart . I love macaroons. I've had them from many places all around the world .
With this been voted best patisserie in 2022 I was expecting it to be great . Sadly not. To this day, the best ones I've tasted were in Switzerland made by Lindt.
The Scarlett Chai was not very good the second time around, neither was my wife's Rooibos Cuppucinno .
It seems to be a consistency issue here. For the price they charge they should not let this happen.
Not sure I'll try this branch again.
Absolutely amazing place to eat. Great atmosphere, waiters are friendly with quick service. Food was tasty and reasonably priced and the bakery treats are world class. Highly recommended.

The high tea is absolutely amazing! Way too much to eat in one sitting( thank goodness for takeaways). The staff are friendly and always waiting to assist you. They have a great selection of teas and coffees, food and best of all their pastries.
I booked the high tea experience and what a beautiful time we had! Complimentary mimomas on arrival were great.
Everything was fresh, well prepared and so delicious. The scones were soft and fresh and the strawberry jam was so good! The pastries and sandwiches were super fresh and yummy. The sweets were delicious, we definitely enjoyed those treats for sure.
For drinks we had the chocolate mint truffle tea which smelled like chocolate but tasted like mint rooibos tea. Also had the oreo avalanche, which is like a hot chocolate that has oreo in it and topped with whipped cream - that was amazing, I have never had anything like that.
The experience was great, everyone is so attentive and making sure that you’re comfortable and happy. Will definitely be back
Wonderful experience and the waitresses are so friendly. Our favorite was Abigail who gave us exceptional service.
The pasta we had was delicious and was a good portion.
