I grew up with bagels as a treat. The bagels here are great, traditionally boiled and baked. Light but with a chew.
So you canhave traditional toppings like snoek pate, salmon, cream cheese, egg mayo and such, or you can be a moron and have roast veg amd Halloumi because everyone knows that the best thing to do with a good thing is to make it bad. Don't be a moron, just have a great bagel.
Bagel zone is an awesome take-away and for quick sit downs, and they make bagels that taste just like the ones in New York!!! I got so excited walking in seeing the huge variety of bagels, needless to say I bought a whole bunch to take home!
Lovely fresh bagels! Have tried both the tuna and the salmon. Get to choose what extras you want on like tomato lettuce etc. I always add a bit of the chili for a nice bite! Would definitely recommend!!
The best bagel I’ve eaten EVER!! The smell of the shop is enough to draw you to it , can’t really describe It in words you need to go an experience it first hand. Many different varieties to choose from , and really well priced .... Be sure to go early because they sell out in no time
Outstanding bagel and truly authentic. Not like most South African bagels that are actually glorified rolls with a hole in the middle. The egg mayo with smoked salmon was delicious. A wide variety of bagels to select from. Definitely going back.

Excellent authentic bagel deli. Great range of bagels with optional range of fillings and sandwiches. Speed of service has really become pretty quick and quality is very consistent. Order ahead or make sure you're on time to avoid disappointment since stock does run out early when its in demand.
Bagel Zone is one of my favourite lunch stops. If I want to order lunch it’s the first place I would go. I am a guy who loves great simple food and Bagel Zone does it for me. Their price is amazing! At R37 for a tuna bagel you can never go wrong. R37, now that’s cheap.
The tuna bagels are so delicious and super filling, my favourite. They have a wide range of different bagels to choose from. Try the sesame, you won’t be disappointed.
