Excellent authentic bagel deli. Great range of bagels with optional range of fillings and sandwiches. Speed of service has really become pretty quick and quality is very consistent. Order ahead or make sure you're on time to avoid disappointment since stock does run out early when its in demand.

Bagel Zone is one of my favourite lunch stops. If I want to order lunch it’s the first place I would go. I am a guy who loves great simple food and Bagel Zone does it for me. Their price is amazing! At R37 for a tuna bagel you can never go wrong. R37, now that’s cheap.
The tuna bagels are so delicious and super filling, my favourite. They have a wide range of different bagels to choose from. Try the sesame, you won’t be disappointed.
If I could give you 10 stars I would, unfortunately google only allows me to give a 5 star rating.

A better system for orders and payment so that those who only want to loose bagels or have pre-ordered don't have to stand up to in long queues while others order filled bagels would go a long way to making the experience more pleasant.

Decent bagel, but after having to repeat our order 3 times and work out who/where to pay (regardless of the new signage) in an empty shop, ended up somehow paying r30 for a miniature Hot Chilla... May have been because it was 4pm which is understandable, but also had almost no bagels to choose from. Not quite the Holy Bagel experience I was hoping for

what a major DISAPPOINTMENT !! on 19 Oct i bought 6 plain bagels and 2 onion bagels ( i was told i was not allowed to buy the onion bagels !!! ) i served them for dinner and ALL PLAIN BAGELS were HARD and under proved and HARD and inedible. did i say HARD!!! the onion bagels were delicious. threw the plain bagels away and wont be back anytime soon.very upset that they would have even sold such poor quality bagels. thanks but NO THANKS.

The bagels and fillings at Bagel Zone are very good. However visiting the store at Genesis Centre is an unpleasant experience. The staff are surly, unresponsive and unhelpful. They do not make eye contact with customers and it is difficult to determine if they have actually heard you. I have avoided Bagel Zone for a while because of this but decided to give it another try today. Nothing has changed! Carrying out requested orders is sloppy and inaccurate; I ordered several egg mayo bagels which should have included tomato, onion and cucumbers. They arrived with a selection of none or some of these ingredients. The procedure for placing orders is disorganised. People further back in the queue are often helped before those in the front. The louder you can shout your order the quicker you will be served. Staff at the till just punch in numbers haphazardly until you are completely at a loss to work out how much you should pay. Paper bags to take home leftovers were given very begrudgingly. I posted a similar review on Bagel Zone's Facebook page but it seems to have been removed.

Bought this bagel at the Benmore store. The filling is so delicious you can tell that the ingredients are fresh. The only let down was the bagel itself, it was rather stale.

Apparently zomato now censors,who knew?<br/>I grew up with bagels as a treat. The bagels here are great, traditionally boiled and baked. Light but with a chew.<br/>So you canhave traditional toppings like snoek pate, salmon, cream cheese, egg mayo and such, or you can be a moron and have roast veg amd Halloumi because everyone knows that the best thing to do with a good thing is to make it bad. Don't be a moron, just have a great bagel.<br/><br/>

Bagel zone is an awesome take-away and for quick sit downs, and they make bagels that taste just like the ones in New York!!! I got so excited walking in seeing the huge variety of bagels, needless to say I bought a whole bunch to take home!

Lovely fresh bagels! Have tried both the tuna and the salmon. Get to choose what extras you want on like tomato lettuce etc. I always add a bit of the chili for a nice bite! Would definitely recommend!!

The best bagel I’ve eaten EVER!! The smell of the shop is enough to draw you to it , can’t really describe It in words you need to go an experience it first hand. Many different varieties to choose from , and really well priced .... Be sure to go early because they sell out in no time

Outstanding bagel and truly authentic. Not like most South African bagels that are actually glorified rolls with a hole in the middle. The egg mayo with smoked salmon was delicious. A wide variety of bagels to select from. Definitely going back.
