We got takeaways from Del Fornos a few weeks ago and it was absolutely delicious.
The ingredients were so fresh and so tasty. The pizza wasn’t too doughey and there was a great contrast between the amount of sauce and the amount of cheese.
Also think it’s quite good value for money. Would definitely get another pizza from here soon.
You have to go on a Thursday for the live music! Stunning little place with a massive menu for everyone to choose from. Great family vibe but lots of couples having date night too due to the romantic atmosphere. The service is outstanding, Carlos makes sure everyone feels welcome and takes the time to memorize regular customers names. We went for a birthday dinner and he arranged for the staff to sing and dance with the Birthday Boy which was special.
Our food was delicious, we had the salmon starter and the Caprese. For mains we had woodfire pizzas that were great. Loved the range of vegetarian options! The rest of the table had steaks, which they enjoyed despite one being a bit tough although not overdone. Dessert we shared the cookie dough doughnut and a few got chocolates were ordered. Such a fun evening! Highly recommend for a relaxed vibe.

Love it when my local pizza place makes a pizza just for me which is not on the menu. Well spoken lady took the order with no hassles. Very friendly. Although they were busy we received our pizzas via delivery in less than 25 minutes. Chicken liver pizza was devoured as was the chourico pizza. Eaten too fast to take a picture. Well done Pizza del Forno Blairegowrie.
I haven’t been in Blairgowrie Plaza for a year or two but the other day I was there with my daughter.
Things were much as I remembered them including the Pizza del Forno waterhole.
When we lived nearby we had ordered many good takeaways from it so we didn’t hesitate to go in for lunch.
The pizzas are almost as good as they used to be, or perhaps my memory is playing tricks with me.
I remember the crust as being thinner and crisper, and the Breakfast Pizza was a little short on bacon.
But they were still very good.
I’m glad we went back.
Delicious pizza, fairly prompt service, and they were happy to make me a half and half pizza, but the charge was a more than I thought. Normally for a half and half you pay the full price of the most expensive one. Here they charged slightly less than each full pizza as a half pizza charge which made it quite a lot more expensive.
All in all, a decent meal, but not the best in town. John Godwin
Very good pasta and pizza specials! My favourite is the roasted Vege and halloumi pasta. Friendly staff and involved owner. Def our go to for pizza and pasta in Blairgowrie
The best pizza ever. I love the spinach bacon and feta pizza, it is full of flavour, fresh real ingredients are used and is all round amazing. It's definitely the too of my list of favourite foods.
The pizzas are fresh, made with quality ingredients and has the taste of home to it. I can honestly say that it's the best pizza you can get in Randburg. They have a nice wine selection aswell.
Yesterday we had a pizza del forno day. Lunch we got delivered Chicken cheese burgers with extra bacon and chips. I must admit my pallet was smiling. It was such a mouth watering experience! For dinner we decided to do the salad with the bacon and avo. This is where the no 5 star comes in. They a bit shy on the avo :(. But otherwise the salad was scrumptious:D! For a person that isn't really a salad eater I really enjoyed it. Overall the Pizza Del Forno day was a success. You guys really made my lazy day an awesome one! Will definitely return for more!
So accommodating to my vegan requests. Ordered a sandwich with roasted butternut, mushroom and acocado drizzled with olive oil and they added some vegan cheese (which I bought from "Free Food Diner" in Sandton, Birnam) with some perfectly yummy chips on the side. The staff and management always go the extra mile to accommodate special requests. Food was quick, fresh and served with a smile. Definitely recommend this restaurant :)
We wanted to try the Delforno @ Blairgowrie so went for Wednesday date night special. Ordered the starter followed my main dish. The food was good but not the ultimate as something was lacking . I’m sure if they put have attention to detail, they can def. be at par with their closest cousin in Parkmore. Just keep up the good work.
Family owned restaurant that put care and love into their food and service. Their delivery service is amazing and quick. We have never been disappointed with any meal we have ordered. Best pizza in JHB!

Had to have a giggle at Jon Fulcher’s review. Who orders a pizza with 5 extra toppings (gluten free, Vegan cheese but then pepperoni?), doesn’t check what it costs and then wants a refund afterwards.
Anyways thought I would balance it out with a 5 star review. Love this place! Could be a bit more generous on the extra toppings for the pastas 😉
Food is never a disappointment. I love anything I eat here. I find that service is better when you are sitting inside rather than outside but otherwise the staff are very polite and friendly. It's normally quiet when I go there but it's lovely to go.

Overall good experience. They have water misters to cool you off in the small outside section-inside looks cozy. You go to Restaurants for the food and it doesn’t disappoint-can recommend the bacon and cheese burger. Penne Alfredo was average and the strawberry dessert was excellent. Service was average but food came out hot so that’s what counts!
