Amazing service and amazing steak!
Nigel and Michel were amazing , wine glass was never empty, Nigel was attentive and always there. And when our friends left their jacket on the other table, Michel went running after them outside the place to catch them! Thank you for a great night!

The food at the Grillhouse in Melrose Arch is fantastic. The quality of their meat is outstanding. Nothing beats their beef ribs! I have eaten here many times of the years and simply cannot get enough. More than just having great food- they have wonderful service. Our favourite waiter is a lovely gentleman named Shepherd. If you are lucky enough for him to take care of you, you are in for a real treat. A little bit on the pricier side, but nevertheless it is still an unbelievable establishment. Highly recommend for business dinners, date nights and special events. #beefribs #steakhouse

One of the best clean and friendly atmosphere. Friendly staff and the food was amazing. Definitely going back again. Went there for lunch after a very long day from my graduation. I really enjoyed my saddle Lamb chops and Rib Lamb chops🙌🏾👌🏾
Our waiter was friendly and the service was good. Ordered a fillet from the specials menu, was really good but the butternut was a little cold, everything else was great through

The reason this place doesn’t get a five star was because one of the streaks were a tad over cooked.
I would recommend this place to people who don’t want to be in a uptight environment but still impress friends and family.
We spent a wonderful spring afternoon on the patio at the melrose arch grillhouse. The table had the mushroom fillet, pork ribs, salmon , lamb shank and ostrich - all of which were perfectly cooked. Michael was our waiter today- and he did a fabulous job making our afternoon memorable.

Business lunch here was a great experience. Had the pepper crusted saddle lamb cutlets and colleagues had the 300g steak dishes. The wine pairing was perfect and the service was on point. We were in a massive hurry and the food arrived on time and was prepared to everyone’s spec. Awesome job guys.
The Grillhouse is a nice addition to Melrose Arch and is well located in the square. The ambiance was relaxed and warm and felt like you were in a steakhouse with the simple fine dining touches. There service we received for our table with family and friends was very good. We had an amazing waiter taking care of us on a cold evening.
There is a good variety of options on the menu for vegetarians - however it is a pity that there was no vegi burger available. Even though the prices on the menu seem high it is really not that bad (excluding wine per glass prices) as the quality of food and service you receive should justify it.
I will be back again in the future.
Eating at the Grillhouse is like staying at a Holiday Inn you know what your getting the standard is likely to be decent no matter which one you go to and the wine always awesome. They’re consistent
Outstanding, Outstanding, Absolutely the best meal in 12 days of being in South Africa. The fillet steak was perfectly cooked, could cut with a fork tender, and no fat or waste. Great drinks and desserts. Michael the server was wonderful!
We had an awesome time, we were welcomed in by the friendly staff at the entrance. Our waitress was Fezile and she kept on checking us, our orders were as requested. She was friendly, professional and helpful. Our mixed grilled orders were big portions, we ended up taking doggy bags. Our cocktails were really nice. I ordered Dom pedro and there wasn't much amarula, I had it replaced without me paying for the extra one. It was warm inside the restaurant and everything was perfect for us. We got moved to a table outside and it was still nice and warm. I would definitely recommend the Grillhouse.

If you are one of those like me, that loves meat WITHOUT fat, bones and stuff.
Then take the Fillet 500g and let every bite go slow, let the mind and body get the taste of some insanely well cooked and beautiful meat.
Don't forget the 'Pepper sauce'

This is a one of famous restaurant for steak. They have many outside seats, so you can enjoy meals casually.
Excellent service from the server, keep tidying up the table and check out needs, foods and drinks are at a reasonable price, a good idea to try S.A. red wines, the quality is not bad
Absolutely loved the service here, beautiful atmosphere. Delicious food and tasty drinks. Our waiter was amazing and so attentive and caring. The place is so chilled and clean. We definitely enjoyed our Sunday lunch date.
The restaurant was empty when we arrived but we were told that they are full due to weekend reservation. We told them that we will only take 1 hour maximum. Finally we were led to a table and made our order. The restaurant is nice and food is very average.
The Grillhouse definitely knows how to treat their patron's because from the minute we entered we were welcomed with a smile until we left. The staff are very friendly and helpful and welcoming. Their food is out of this world, you can tell their food is well cooked and prepared. Even their drinks they are mouthwatering. Extremely popular, and for good reason. Well priced, great portion sizes and dishes always pack the signature Grillhouse Flavours.
Tends to get a little loud, so wouldn't recommend for date nights, but amazing for any other occasion. An award winning wine collection and some decent whiskeys make this the perfect all in one.
Recommend any steak with their pepper sauce, and be sure to ask for any special cuts. The lamb shank is killer.

This restaurant was situated right next to my hotel Marriott Melrose Arch. Came recommended by hotel front desk staff. The hostess had the bubbliest personality. She didn’t have a table for me as a walk up but promised to have one ready in 45
Mins which she did. Only negative I didn’t have any cloth napkin so I had to ask and was given paper. Not enough to make me feel bad.
My service was offered by a wonderful woman Elizabeth. I gave her permission to make dinner recommendations for me. I’m happy to report I enjoyed all options especially the Stellenbosch Cabernet. I’ll be back for the ostrich medallions. Wasn’t brave enough to try that yet.
