Wide variety in the grill menu backed up by excellent customer service! Went out of the way to rectify & make up for the chef errors in grilling correctly. Don’t see this level of customer service in recent times. Enjoyed the food experience!
I don't often give a 5 but it is hard to fault Turn 'n Tender. We have been here a number of times and I can honestly say that the service is always friendly and efficient, and more importantly the food and atmosphere is always GREAT!!!!
My favourite is any of the meat dishes with the Dianne sauce, which is not on the menu.
A wow experience everytime. Amazing food, staff and great atmosphere. They always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Definitely will be going back soonest. I would recommend it to any foodies out there.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere- it’s been busy every time we have dined here. Good consistent quality of food. Desserts are huge and so always end up sharing with the children.
Absolutely amazing dining experience ! Yesterday evening my partner and I went out for dinner at Turn n Tender Bassoina and we were thoroughly impressed . The ambience, food, service and over all experience was lovely. Make sure to book, if possible to get the best seating, as it tends to get full.
We came here for Sunday lunch and the food didn't disappoint. We had the squid heads (best I've had) and beef rib rashers. For main pork loins with Sweet potatoes and a rib and chicken combo. Cooked to perfection.
Service does need a bit of work but overall it was a pleasant experience
I’ve been here a couple of times. It’s me and my boyfriend’s special dining place. We love their grilled biltong, fillet with bordelaise sauce, ribs, chicken and their cocktails (of coarse). We have always had the best service and the food never disappoints.
Wonderful experience from the service to the food. Great vibe fillet steak was awesome. The waiter was so pleasant. A must try you will not regret it.
If you’re looking for a brilliant dinner or Sunday lunch, this is the place. They have the best steak dishes (at least the best I’ve had). I do however they need to serve those starter breads and butter while we wait for our food. But I’m quite happy with the service and the dishes. They’re worth the price.
Best food. Cooked to perfection. I would do it again. Good for dates or romantic dinners. Would bring a child there. Also the steak is amazing.
Had a date with my husband because we were both craving for steak. All I can say is wow wow wow. The steak was medium rare, soft and just melts in your mouth! Definitely recommend the cut for 2 Fillet. Comes with 2 sides and 2 sauces. Super worth it!

Great service and friendly waiters, the food is delicious and reasonable. We had the two course meal. I had the hake and chips which was so delicious, the sauce was lovely. Looking forward to trying more on their menu

This place have to have the best steaks in town or was it the chef who knows just how the client wants it as well as the waiter who took my oder right, because quite a few restaurants seem to always get my steak slightly wrong? Or was it the great atmosphere or the exceptionally attentive staff? Definitely all of the above, overall, I had an amazing experience and Im definitely coming back here.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Turn 'n Tender in Bassonia, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. I opted for the 200g sirloin steak with a dry pepper and cheese sauce, accompanied by a side of vegetables.
The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the steak itself. It was cooked to perfection, with a juicy and tender texture that truly melted in my mouth. The combination of the dry pepper and cheese sauce added a delightful flavor profile, enhancing the natural taste of the steak without overpowering it. It was a mouthwatering delight that left me completely satisfied.
On the service front, however, I found it to be average. While the staff was polite and attentive, there were no standout moments that went above and beyond my expectations. They efficiently took my order, brought out the food in a timely manner, and checked in on me periodically. Although the service didn't detract from my overall dining experience, it didn't leave a lasting impression either.
In conclusion, Turn 'n Tender in Bassonia delivered a delectable sirloin steak that I thoroughly enjoyed. The meat was succulent and perfectly cooked, complemented by the flavorful dry pepper and cheese sauce. While the service was satisfactory, it didn't go beyond the norm. If you're looking for a great steak, I would definitely recommend giving Turn 'n Tender a visit.
