A very homely restaurant serving fresh foods and delicious dessert cakes. I will definitely be back with some friends to enjoy the great hospitality from the staff. worth a visit with nice private little nooks for couples or big tables for the family...

Been meaning to write a review on this cosy new find for 3 weeks already so let me get to it! Found Delish on the Entertainer App and so glad we did. It's a cozy little Bistro with the most friendly owner who makes you feel very at home. The menu is diverse with meat, fish, burgers and even something called ''power bowls'' which consist of yummy bowls of a chosen protein with lovely fresh ingredients. I had the Seared Steak Bowl which was ''Delish'' and my wifes calamari was also really good. The prices are not over the top and one thing is for sure...we will be back soon. Keep up the great work!
Cute, little cafe hidden in Hout Bay. I'm always looking for a good cafe to go have brunch, lunch or coffee with a friend and I think I have found the perfect restaurant to do so. Service was excellent. The vegetarian food was scrumptious and the juices(and coffee) were really good! Can't wait to go back and try more on the menu :)
It's light and comfortable, and a great place to go for a breakfast or lunch. We sat in a corner on a makeshift couch with pillows against the wall which was wonderful and made the place even better.
I had the chicken mayo toastie, which is on a ciabatta, and it was a great and refreshing lunch. I love to try Chai Lattes at places and as most other places, there is nothing special about theirs, but it was still nice.
I would definitely recommend it if you just want a nice lunch or breakfast, because their breakfast menu seems tasty too. I would definitely go back when I'm in that area again.

Very enjoyable spot in walking distance from where we're staying. I enjoyed the open sandwich chicken snitzel on wholewheat toast. The service was good & the restaurant had quirky, unique decor. Will be back for breakfast.

Family Sunday lunch. A cosy cafe in Hout Bay. Food was pretty average, no wow factors. The boys had burgers - the bun to pattie ratio was wrong -bun was massive, pattie was much smaller. I had the hot pot chicken pie which at R90 I felt was a bit overpriced as it was a rather small pie. tomato soup was flavoursome and good portion size. Coffee milkshake was good. Very friendly service and good ambience.
Great lunch at Delish. A real little gem in Hout Bay. Been here a few times and have never been disappointed by the service or quality of their food. Had a burger for lunch today, really outstanding.
After a hike we took our dogs and had breakfast here. We could sit anywhere outside with the dogs. Their coffees were wonderful. The Frittata was a hit (we opted for chourizo, cheddar and peppers) and the pesto scrambled eggs with polenta toast was super scrumptious (only criticism it had quite a bit of oil) but it was the perfect size and really tasty. Friendly staff and prompt service. Happy customers
Cute restaurant offering many vegetarian and vegan options. The staff was friendly and the food was “delish.” One of the best omelettes we’ve had on our trip.
Scenic cafe situated in the beautiful Hout Bay valley only a few minutes walk from the beach. Great breakfast and lunch options on the menu with dietary extras available. Enjoyed a Orange Carrot and ginger fruit juice with Avo, Poached egg on gluten free toast. Friendly atmosphere accompanied by polite table service. Look forward to visiting again.

This popular place can be hard on you as the place can be packed to the brim. The locals know why they come here, as the place is somewhat off the usual path of least resistance. But its charm, good food, and service make it a great hideout and a place you must go and visit. The cheesecake is to die for, and so was my chicken salad toasted sandwich. No overload of mayo in this masterpiece, just taste! I shall return soon!
Been here a couple of times now. What an awesome find. Cheesecake to die for and hummus salad that will save your life. In fact, all my friend's loved what they ordered. Everyone should go here!

Scouring Hout Bay for something new, we arrived at this quaint bistro / restaurant.
Warm greetings at the door, a lovely nook table with coffee served very shortly, a must in the cold rainy weather. As breakfast is served all day, what a nice change, we ordered the house special. Special indeed,eggs, bacon, mushrooms in particular were absolutely bursting with flavour; Chef must be discerning in choice of ingredients.
Visit, they are very good.
Best breakfast roll of scrambled eggs ( served all day too!!) on the lightest tossted Ciabiata roll! Wife polished off her chicken salad which was also fantastic. Will 100% be back!!
Was at this establishment today Sunday 19 November it wasn't the nicest day ever in Hout bay saying that the manager on duty offered is blankets as I was wearing shorts I ordered the egg and bacon roll on ciabatta bread it had a brown sauce (not BBQ sauce) omg it made the roll. Would like to go back when it's a nicer day
Order the white chocolate cheesecake!! As you’ve seen in other reviews, it is decadent and a must.
The lox croissant with eggs was exactly what I was looking for - the croissant was fresh and buttery and the eggs were surprisingly amazing (I’m not always a fan of scrambled eggs.)
The eggs Benedict was fabulous as well - at least the bite I stole!
I want to come back for the nourish bowls that sound amazing! Cute ambiance and a fire place if you’re lucky enough to get the couches near it.
