Review Q4 Prawns Steaks & Sushi Restaurant - Hillcrest

The service, the cocktails, the food, everything was simply top notch. We hadn’t been to Q4 for years and decided to try while most of the family were away… we will be back with the rest of the family for sure! Edit: We have been back, and continue to go back regularly because the… well EVERYTHING… continues to impress and delight.

Some of the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten. The steak was amazing, better than some of the fancy ones I’ve had abroad. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is relatively quiet and is a bit hidden away. It’s a top option for me and somewhere I will be returning.

This place has such amazing food. Their potions were something I was not expecting. So much more than I expected. Most times when you go to a seafood place, their seafood isn't really fresh but here it was. The oysters are so meaty. Their prawns are absolutely delicious and so are their drinks. This is truly a hidden gem

It was our first time at Q4 Prawns and it was a very pleasant and enjoyable evening. Friendly staff, great food and a relaxed atmosphere. There is a deck as well for the smokers. Their menu is priced well and they cater for everyones taste buds. Q4 combo platter was amazing and the rump steak cooked to perfectly. We will definitely be visiting there again.

Ordered for takeaway. Went to restaurant, warm welcome. Very friendly and helpful staff. Was assisted in more information about the platters etc. Ordered a seafood platter, chicken schnitzel and sushi. Don’t mind the photos, food was delicious.

A large group of us went on Tuesday night to celebrate a birthday. The service was friendly but slow, even though the restaurant was quiet. My Kingklip was absolutely divine and the birthday girl was sung to with sparkler, which was a nice touch!

Service was exceptional, food delicious beyond expectation and truly good value for money. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our celebration so special.

Lovely atmosphere quiet had dinner 8 of us. We had sea food platter and sushi. Service was amazing thank you we will visit again loved the seafood.

Best seafood restaurant in Hillcrest! They also serve steak and chicken dishes, as well as a kiddies menu. Fully licensed - make an awesome Long Island tea, strawberry daiquiri and Kahlua Dom Pedro! Highly recommended.

The food is super tasty and delicious! Best sushi I’ve had in a while! Seafood is fresh, and the fillet steak is so soft! The staff is super friendly too! Definitely give this place a try!

There is no availability of the actual menu other than sushi online or on the app. Which is quite disappointing and is sure to turn people away as they can't check the price ranges and food available.

Had lunch on a weekday at this joint and wanted seafood. First of all this restaurant was affordable. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The food was good. The service was however average considering that the place was basically empty it's actually bordering on bad. Overall just ok.

We decided on Q4 as we were already in Hillcrest but our 1st choice didn't seem to be the best choice. I was greeted at the door by a friendly waitress (Lungi I think) who led us to a comfortable corner seat. The food menu isn't unique, but the food was prepared very well. Lungi checked up on us often enough and the manager even stopped by for a chat. We will consider Q4 for our staff party this year perhaps?

Very good food, waitron service good but that Manager who continually slams that door leading out to the smoking area while us non smokers are sitting inside .... OMW! Hasn't he got ears ??? SLAM,SLAM,SLAM every time he walks outside! Absolutely ruins any ambience !!! And his attitude is like we lucky to be dining there!!!!! Wake up ! You in the hospitality industry !! You can't be a wise guy !!

Very poor experiences. Plural. Service is beyond shocking, owner is terribly rude and does not take criticism at all. Food is nothing to write home about and more often than not you will be disappointed

I really did not enjoy this place, it wasn't the food. The food was okay but the service is poor. The restaurant has no ambience and the quality of the food is good but lacks something different. Something truly original in taste and menu. Same old standard boring menu.

Good sushi is hard to come by. I find that many places over do the rice and skimp on the actual fish. However Q4 found the perfect balance. The service was polite and unintrusive. The sushi was fresh and well made. The pieces also weren't too large. All in all an enjoyable experience.
