We were greeted by a friendly face, he took his time to let us decide where to sit, as it was a few of us we got a nice table to fit us all.
The waiter took time to explain the meals to us and recommended others. I ordered from the winter menu, the cheesy garlic roll,stuffed with chourico sausage and cheese was absolutely to die for, not dry at all, it almost melts into your mouth. Next was the peri peri prawn pasta, which was mouth watering, we took ours mild, so it has a nice kick, but not too hot. And of course the best thing on the menu (for me) is their coconut rice with BBQ chicken. We also tried a dish which I can explain as a seafood cottage pie (sorry I forgot it's name) also from the winter menu which was also amazing and cheesy.
For drinks I had hot chocolate (it was a bit watery) and a gin cocktail. All in all it was a lovely lunch and I wish the winter menu can continue 😄 . I give them 5 stars for everything, but I cant complain about anything 👌

It is not my nature to complain publicly, especially when the food was so good, but nobody answered my email.
I have been eating at Mozambik for many years, although, since 2020, we more often eat Mozambik food at home. I have always loved your food and your chicken livers are the best.
We stopped in on the weekend and placed an order. I came back later to pick up. This was the first time I have been disappointed at your restaurant.
I ordered the livers as always. If there were 6 bits of liver in the box then I was lucky.
In the past the livers are in tin foil to keep them warm, this time - almost cold. And I was well within the 25 minutes I was advised to pick them up.
I thought about driving back but I got lazy. This is not a complaint about the quality, the livers were as good as always. There just wasn't enough to warrant paying R60+
Please don't disappoint again!.
Added 9/5/23: Just notified of 1000 views on this post - I thought I should add something here - The Mozambik manager completely replaced this with a full box of the same quality they always give. All happy now. I hope none of the 1000 views were put off by my post.
