Was there on Saturday we did a wine tasting...bought some wine and decided to have a look at your lunch menu. We left to do rest if our tour. We all decided that your menu was interesting and not overpriced and returned to have lunch...3 of us had beef sirlion and 1 had oxtail...the best was made brilliantly. .tasty and presented very well...your desserts was from another planet...so delicious. Will definitely recommend this fine restaurant for the lovely food and wine. Top class

The chef was beyond accommodating and put on a VEGAN feast!
If you are in the area I would highly recommend the restaurant.
Starter- table salad, spinach and butternut dhal 😍
Main- coconut milk and vegetable curry😍.
I was too full for dessert 🙈
What an absolutely wonderful experience, besides the great wines and the incredible architectural design of this intimate estate, the people there just add another layer of connectedness and a personal touch. Thanks to Amanda and Gian for a great time, their knowledge and friendliness was appreciated. The location and views are the cherries on a very large cake.
Exceptional food, really good wines to pair with, but the the food is truly exceptional. Delicious blend of flavors without being complicated. Freshest ingredients and a small menu but with a choice for every palate!

Loved their tasting experience. Amanda was incredible with beautiful and detailed explanations of the wines. I love the atmosphere here, it’s slightly smaller than Creation meaning you get impeccable service and feeling looked after as a guest. I prefer Spookfontein over Creation in terms of service and atmosphere. The wines are great if not better. Felt very welcome here and will definitely be back!
Gorgeous location, amazing wine, and delicious food. Couldn’t recommend it more. Such a special place! And friendly people! Would 100% visit again.
An incredible destination- the building design and decor is modern and incredibly beautiful. So is the food at the restaurant and the wine tasting. Another incredible destination in the Hemel and Aarde Valley near Hermanus. I would put 6* if I could.

The seating area has high ceilings and tables are spaced far apart giving everyone their bit of privacy and fresh air.
The food was well prepared and presented with the Pork Ramen being my favourite dish of them all followed by the brownies and the tuna.
The staff are friendly and professional. We did have one overcooked steak but they were kind enough to grill a new one - Definitely appreciated this.
The restaurant has an incredible view in the Hemel & Aarde Valley. Could spend a whole day here and would visit again.
The food is well priced, not overly expensive (like some other places in the area) and well worth the drive.
A fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon. R55 for 4 wines of your choice. Some great info about the place and wine notes. Relaxed and enjoyable location
What a surprising experience. I think this has to be the fastest restaurant in the overberg. We placed our order and the kitchen sprang to life and in minutes we had our food, all at the same time.
And very delicious food, well presented. Served by Nick, very professional no nonsense man.
We were so impressed by the rose, that we continued with a wine tasting. Chris made this a wonderful experience.
Overall a very enjoyable and highly recommend experience.
