Family friendly seafood place. More than just a fish and chips. My wife and I shared a seafood platter and we got the kids meals for the little ones. The hake was great and the sauce for tge mussels really nice. The toy that comes with the kids meal was an added bonus as this entertained the kids while we were enjoying the view and ambience of the beach. The food was really nice and fresh, the view great and staff were smiling. Stop here when traveling through Gordons Bay, it's well worth a visit..
Not sure what the previous reviewer is on about, the portions sizes are great and the food is delicious! Great vibe in and around the shop, prices are on par with similar shops. You cannot compare drink prices with a cafe, as they have different costings, that is like complaining that the beer in a bar is more expensive than the liquor store..
Anyway, awesome place and well worth a visit!
By far the best seafood in Gordon's Bay. The staff were friendly, professional and we didn't wait long for our food. Trawlers has new owners since last year and you can clearly see (and taste) the difference! We ordered a family meal and was more than enough food for 4 people. Be sure to try Trawlers when in Gordon's Bay.
You get fish and chips and then you get fish and chips. Some of the freshest hake and calamari I've ever tasted. Nothing fancy, just good ol' fish and chips done the right way!

This is a place you must not miss. The best meal we had on holiday. The food was exquisite and although we got there just before closing the staff went out of their way to enable us to have a fantastic meal. Definitely a place I will travel to go back to.
Trawlers is an informal fish, seafood and chips eatery that fronts Beach Road in Gordon's Bay small downtown area. If you like fish'n'chips places, you'll be more than happy eating here. Just remember that it's self-service and that it doesn't have a liquor license. The food is almost all fried, but it's fresh and inexpensive. Portions are generous and service is fairly fast.

Trawlers Seafood is a clean and colourful eatery with a wide variety on their menu and reasonable prices. We in particular enjoyed the calamari and would have loved to try other items on the menu! The staff were friendly and I was struck by how clean the establishment is. The food was prepared quickly and was fresh and tasty. A must try in my book.
