Haven't been for a while. The food was delicious and the new decor in the restaurant is really awesome.

Love all the pastas and pizzas I've eaten from here, and the ice cream is a great after soccer great for kids...but I see the menu is not up to date on the app.
After smelling the aroma's from the pizza oven while celebrating a mate's 50th dinner, decided to return for an authentic pizza and arrived to a market day with a chilled atmosphere. Was worried there might be a delay getting our food with the packed & hungry crowd but from order to serving, it took barely 15 mins... Started with a salad parmigiana for the table (no shortage of parmesan shavings), kids shared a pizza campagnola with tomatoes mozzarella onions & peppers, with me & the missus sharing a pizza vegetariana - thin crust wirh just the right amount of toppings - definitely one of the best we've had in a very long time. Will definitely be back to sample more from their menu.. Depending on space, will be indulging in some ice-cream from their gelato/espresso bar😉🍕🍦
Went to dinner on Friday night and although they were busy they fitted us in. Really great Italian food at reasonable prices considering its bedfordview. Had the beef mince ravioli with red sauce and it was very tasty and cooked well! Little bit loud on the outside patio but there is a nice ambience! Thumbs up!
On Friday night, I decided to treat my boyfriend to an early birthday dinner. Knowing what a huge rump lover he is, I had to find a place that had great rump for a reasonable price. I stumbled across this restaurant on Zomato and we agreed to give it a shot!
I had seen a few comments about service being slow. Although we had incredible service.
My boyfriend ordered 300g rump for under R100! According to him, it was the best rump he has ever eaten. So kudos to this restaurant for that. He's really picky when it comes to rump.
I had the spinach and ricotta cannelloni. Honestly, I've developed a new a new obsession with cannelloni. The pasta is homemade and you can taste it! The filling was perfect and the cheese wasn't overdone!
We ended our meal with three scoops of gelato. All were incredible.
This is a lovely spot for families!

This past weekend was the long awaited annual Italian festival in Bedfordview and I found myself here! Think grappa, gnocchi, lasagne, lots of tomato, cheeses, espressos, limoncello, pizzas and last but certainly not least cannoli!
I would like to start with the fact that over the years I have been to Italy eight or so times and it is by far my favourite country and cuisine hands down. The Italian food culture is something to be marveled at.. Enjoying a meal with friends or family is the main ingredient of any Italian dish and they know how to prepare and eat good food! Another interesting point that I have learnt about the Italian food culture is its rich regional diversity and you can eat very different cuisines depending on where you are just within Italy itself..
The Italian Club (ICJ) and Il Terrazzo did not disappoint on their authentically Italian food offerings and I thoroughly enjoyed my Italian food experience in Bedfordview! Their service does need a little help but if you are in the spirit of the fact that the slowness of course is something traditionally that all Italians enjoy, you wont be disappointed!
Had Sunday lunch here last weekend with a big table. Great value for money. Service is appalling at best, dire at worst and don't expect a quick meal. However, the delicious pastas, pizzas and chicken make up for it. Delicious beignets to wrap up our meal. Reservations necessary - Sunday's seem to get packed out.
Had a birthday party. Was a bit disappointing in that we were unable to set up in time for our event as the venue was still messed up from the night before. They didn't have table cloths for the cake & gift table.
The food was great though.

A very nice place with very Italian feel. It has a festivd feel with a few parties being held and the festive feel is infectios. The food was very good , but there was a few things not available to order. Taken that it is the silly season I suppose it can be expected.

We attended the Alfa Romeo Club of South Africa's 50th Anniversary, hosted at The Italian Club. The event was very well catered, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the service was excellent.

The best pizza I have had in years, great place for the family. Tables are a good distance from others, covid protocol is definitely followed. Can't wait to go back!
