Lovely place to watch the whales or just chill out over looking the rocks and sea. Good, uncomplicated food and laid back vibe. Perfect place to chill on the weekend. Highly recommended (not sure if I should be sharing this info as it is already difficult to get a booking!!)
Great view of the bay (including dolphins & whales). Our waitress was very friendly & seated us at a better table when other guests did not arrive. My mom and I had the pork belly and her friend the chicken parmigiana, and it was fantastic. Real coffee & espresso afterwards. We will be back�

BEST coffee (I'm not exaggerating... ) with the BEST view while you are Whale watching. I won't recommend the specific chocolate cake served on that day.
Menu looked appetising, they also serve alcohol, but we came for the coffee. Recommended.
What a wonderful little spot that delivers a great view of the ocean.
It's perfect on a warm day when you can sit at the tables on the balcony but there are also tables indoors for colder temperatures.
De Kelders is just outside Hermanus but here, it feels so far away because of the lack of several tourists.
It appeared that locals frequent this place and the food is pretty good.
Shoutout to the ladies Julia and Danielle deliver good, sharp service that doesn't feel intrusive at all.
Don't know what to order? The chocolate cake is wonderful - it reminds you of a distant time in the past when you were young and the pleasures of life were simple.
Stairs don't work for wheelchair users.
Great place to relax and have breakfast, lunch snack or just coffee. Watching the whales go by. Great view of the bay. Danielle excellent host.
Frankly I just went for a coffee, and to gaze on the bay. The view is incredible: on the lip of coastal brushland which slopes down to cliffs, maybe 50m down, with a wide vista of the bay with Hermanus in the distance. In half an hour I saw three whales, another 100m or so beyond the cliffs.
The menu looks interesting and varied. I will definitely return to try the food.

If you sit outside, you have an awesome view of the sea, but space is limited. Not much parking available. It was bisy and service was slow but still friendly.
We unfortunately went at peak time so it was quite busy. So after 12h30 is best. Unless you want breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Prices are fair, considering its the only coffee shop in De Kelders. Food was tasty. Coffee good and strong!

Nice food and a stunning view!! If you are lucky, you maybe see whales. The sandwiches and the cake are perfect. I really enjoyed my time here.

Cakes are a bit too sweet for my taste but otherwise it was good food.
Great setting beautiful views and tasty food. Only observation, portions could be bigger but it's always great to visit here
