Nice spot, very big M&B. Rating as a 4, because service and food was great but it was really cold, no heaters. And charging spots were not in any booths only at single tables so I was not comfortable eating and working… everything was always at the edges… hopefully the team can relook at the setup if possible..

I must say that I have been to many restaurants in my lifetime and the one thing I usually struggle with is the service , but today I'm so glad I got to fully enjoy my experience. I had a Sweetcorn fritter meal and it was absolutely amazing ! The atmosphere was great The shop was super clean ! But my favorite part was the service I received from Kai She was so friendly , funny and helpful She helped me and my sister pick out a meal ideal for us both and made adjustments were necessary Her patience qas greatly appreciated and her smile definitely added to the experience Please look for her if you ever decide to visit this branch !!! 🙏🏻 Well done Guys !

Had an amazing time at fourways mall mug and bean. Beautiful service...got served by a young lady named Kai and wow wow wow her service was amazing. She's polite, very attentive and very friendly. I enjoyed the food as well...wow I'll definitely become a regular customer from now going forward :)

I had breakfast there and it was fantastic. My waitress, Kai, was really friendly and went beyond and above to make sure I was comfortable. Service like that is hard to come by these days. Really appreciated it and I’ll be back soon!!!

I came with my mom. The service was great, the ambiance was great, the food was great - rancheros omlette for anyone who wants to know! Our server Kai was the absolute sweetest! She definitely made the experience what it was. Definitely recommend giving this branch a visit!

I went with my baby brother to have breakfast and I must say that their service is really amazing. The staff is very friendly and they help you out at any convenience. I really enjoyed it. Even their food is top quality. It was very scrumptious and filling.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice, quite busy. We had a friendly waitress and good service. The food was delicious as always. It's conveniently located in Fourways mall. I would recommend eating here

I am a regular at Mugg and bean Sandton and I felt like the Mugg and bean in Fourways was amazing. The waiters are friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful. It was also nice seeing one of my favourite waitresses at the fourways branch Kai. She always has a smile on her face and nice to be around. I’ll definitely come to the Mugg and bean in fourways again.

Sakhile was lovely and my mother and I enjoyed our breakfast here. We always appreciate a big happy smile so thank you Sakhile. Good coffee and omelet's at a more than reasonable price.

The food was fresh and tasty. And the salad was crispy and had a delicious salad dressing. And the service was excellent. Lovely, calm relaxing atmosphere.

I was at the Fourways branch and I ordered a big daddy burger which was really great,the sauce really is tasty and not only that the service was amazing, the waiter Kai really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great meal through recommendations.l will definitely be going back to the establishment.

First things first, the service was bad initially. The lady that sat me down literally left me unattended for a good 15 minutes. She did not even bother to introduce herself. Ales, the manager, I assume she is a manager since she was dressed in all black, eventually came and asked if all is okay. Of course I said No! She quickly assigned a waiter, and I must say the waiter was quite attentive. My food arrived, to my dismay, the quality was sub standard. Fries were barely cooked, burger patty tasted worse than those frozen patties you buy at a supermarket. Anyhow, the Avocado and that tomatoes were fresh. I must say I'm I big Mugg n Bean fan so I'm familier with the standard. This is below the belt, I have had this exact meal at several Mugg n Beans and the quality was great at other place.

Service is extremely poor. Food was the worst for a Mugg and Bean. Was served a dry chicken and mayo sandwich, and a veg wrap that was soggy and uncooked aubergine. Don't recommend.

Decided to have a mid-afternoon bite here on a weekday. We were greeted nicely by the waiters at the front then taken to a booth where we were offered drinks. They came quite quickly and our waitress was very attentive until we needed the the bill, then she was nowhere to be seen. The butternut and chickpea salad had the most delicious honey mustard dressing. The wrap and burger were tasty too. Overall a decent meal.

This is a restaurant in a lovely position in a lovely nursery that’s well maintained that the restaurant is completely disappointing the food is shocking actually it’s something I can’t even pay money for the service was good and the restaurant is clean but if you can avoid it avoid it at all costs rather spend your money get a takeaway

I sat in Mugg and Bean aĺl morning conducting interviews. As much as I'm not a franchise fan, I have to admit that sometimes they just get it right. We received good service, drank nice coffee and had bottomless Wi-Fi.

Seriously,! bad service bad food, the waiters hardly understand English stuff up the order, one has to ask for everything two or 3 times, butter, coffee, the bill, spoils the entire experience of eating out, think they should select their staff more carefully

Best Strawberry Cheesecake ever!!! It was so smooth and creamy that it melts in your mouth! Not too sweet either which makes me happy.<br/><br/>Super fresh scones, and a REALLY big slice of a Layered Chocolate Cake! Really impressed.<br/><br/>They don't have the greatest service in the world which just left me irritable and annoyed. It's not the customer's duty to flag down the waiter... multiple times! Service with a smile will not do your brand ANY damage either :/

Average restaurant. Ok for a quick cup of coffee. Service decent. Lots of construction- so hopefully will have a better atmosphere once done. The mall is quite a boring spot

Had to grab the attention of waitron after been seated. Service was even slower than waiting to be served. Once attended to we were told that the liquor license had expired so cannot be served with alcohol. How can a franchised outlet allow this to happen?<br/>Food can be better - have eaten at better M&B<br/>

Service can be a little bit slow here at times but the food has never disappointed me and it's always fresh. The menu is diverse and I haven't had anything that I didn't like. <br/><br/>Sitting outside on the deck is lovely.

Great cobb salad. Good view as well if you choose to sit outside.<br/>The menus etc can tend to be a bit  sticky sometimes though.<br/>Otherwise , Im a big M&B fan

Ordered the mexican fiesta platter on 2 occasions and both times the chicken wings were raw. The manager and waitress saw it and on both occasions gave a half hearted apology and discounted the platter by 10% as a few of the items were eaten.  Only reason why we went the second time was because we expected the service to be better.

I was walking around the mall wondering where I should get a decent slice of cake. I looked up and saw Mugg&bean and remembered how decadent and lovely their cakes were. I went inside and was greeted with a smile; the place was pumping! I looked around for the cake display and it was love at first site; I asked what this magnificent looking cake was, and she said "Cookie dough cake". Oh my God I thought. I HAD to adopt this slice of cake to take home but ended up devouring it while waiting for a friend to pick me up.  YUMMY!

Beautiful view from the Deck, perfect for early morning dining. The service could have been better but the food was amazing. And who can resist bottomless free wi-fi? Pleasant dining experience.

We popped in for a quick breakfast. Service was a little slow to begin with but picked up after we pointed out that we were quite ravenous (and possibly a little hangry 😉). The house blend sans milk was delicious, as was the cappuccino. I had my favourite, New Orleans French Toast, which hit the spot. The other half had the Bacon and creamy avo Eggs Benedict. Tasty, but the mushrooms lacked flavour. A good option in the Fourways Mall food court.

If Zomato had a zero rating I would give this branch it. From an incredibly doughy scone to watery cream to appaling service. This particular meal was an absolute disaster. I will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever come back here. Ever again. I think it would be best to avoid all Mugg & Bean branches.

So disappointed. Really picked a bad morning. Couldn't have a much looked forward to Capuccinno as their machine "wasn't working". Being on a banting diet I was looking forward to the mushroom and avoid burger. They had no mushrooms nor Avocadoes. Waitress was new. .sweet but really needed training. If it wasn't for the excellent manager who saved the day by adapting the meal. Swooped cheese for the avoidance. And rushed a staff member to buy Mushrooms from Woolworths, I wd give it the lowest rating. But he made every effort to right things. .and with a smile too. Food was good when it arrived. Oh..and the air conditioner wasn't working either. I wd give it another try to see if it was and bad day or just how things roll here

Really disappointed. Restaurant was empty yet service was extremely slow. Forgot my drink order twice. My food was also cancelled due to lack of avo and certain bread. Bathrooms were dirty too.

One of my favourite Mugg and Beans! The staff are lovely, friendly and so very helpful! The place is always clean and the food delicious. Nothing more that I would ask out of a this franchise.

Banana and Peanut Butter Smoothie. Mmmmm. No surprises here this place has great food and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Their menu is very broad and making a decision on what to eat can take ages as the pictures all look good.

Great concept, good value for money and no surprises. Tasty drinks and eats served with a smile so all good for a quick Sunday morning snack.

Plus points for this outlet: it is a little bit away from the mainstream of the mall, do you don't feel the hustle and bustle, you can sit on the edge of the restaurant and still watch the passers-by, which can be fun. The food and coffee is good - tried their "Bare Burger" - and it was very tasty - the sweet potato fries were an interesting addition. The service however needs to sharpen up a bit.

Absolutely appalling!! From the disinterested waiter whom abandoned us half way through (he eventually sent someone else to help), who didn't have basic training in what flavour muffins they had that day to the pulled-pork roll creation that arrived look like it had fallen on the floor and had been stamped on a few times (nothing to what it looked like in the menu, but not even half way similar). Never had a good experience here but thought let's give it one more try... won't be going back.

We really enjoyed our breakfast here this morning. Our waiter was attentive and friendly and provided us with awesome service. The food was presented well and was tasty.

Terrible service. After being told there was no torta bread with which to make the food I ordered, I asked for a minute to decide on something else on the menu. Five minutes go past and I had to flag another waiter to place my order, as my original waitress went missing. When my order arrives, the waiter props my plate down and walks away without offering to refill my drink, or without at least giving me enough time to order one. I had to then flag a third waiter to order my drink, which arrived via a fourth waitress after my food was done anyway. Terrible service. This establishment can kiss my business goodbye.

This Mugg and Bean is one of the better ones when it comes to the quality of the food, the service is alright and the booths are okay, the chairs not so much. I had the salmon Eggs Benedict and it was one of the best ones I have had, although I didn't like the fish flavor with the Hollandaise sauce but the meal was cooked beautifully. I asked for soft eggs and got soft eggs, the tomato was also cooked well. Good portion and I enjoyed the meal. I will come back here for their Eggs Benedict!👍

The way to my heart- french toast! The other way to my heart- CRISPY bacon! Always good coffee, and a hard working waitress, they were busy, busy, busy! Love. Jambo.

Consistency is probably the most difficult thing to achieve in an eatery, so choose a franchise operation where standards are monitored by the owner and the franchisor and you should have a sure bet. Not so with this Mugg. The place looks shoddy - paint peeling off walls, torn awnings, floor in need of attention, etc. After a debate between two (friendly) waiters we finally ordered coffee and a toasted bacon,egg & cheese sarmie with extra fries and coleslaw, to share. Simple enough. Eventually all arrived on one plate. The missing egg/s where never found between the pieces of dry bread and the slaw was slapped onto a side plate. We left hastily without eating having been gifted the coffee, with an apology. There are other M&B's around, so no reason whatsoever to be here.<br/>

Definitely not the service or food quality I'd ordinarily expect from a Mugg&Bean. Slow service, had to ask for jam and butter with my toast numerous times, butter was rock hard and the eggs on the benedict were dry and hard poached. If you offer the option to a client as to how they prefer their eggs to be done, perhaps consider following it?

Good food as always from MnB. However the is always under staffed. Always busy. And therefore starves the place of good service. <br/>Pity.......

I usually enjoy Mugg and Bean. This particular place is rather tired and needs and all round facelift, from the decor to the service. Admittedly, the Fourways Mall is rather long in the tooth and desperately needs an upgrade. The waitstaff are way too relaxed. As for the food, it is standard Mugg and Bean fare so it is expected to be good. Sadly though, it does not live up the the quality of the other same brand bistros in the area, namely Lonehill.

As a regular of take away cappuccino , they need to set up a station that will help with this added no eating in customers. There cake fridge and bakery section was a bit dismal.

Not my favourite Mugg & Bean but it is conveniently close to my house. The service hasn't been fantastic each time but there have been times it was alright. The food hasn't always been up to standard either. I do like the outside area, on a nice sunny day it is quite nice. The last time I was there my mom's red velvet hot chocolate wasn't hot and the foam had caved in, which made it seem like it had been standing for a while. The time before with my gran and my friend, they both ordered a meal and I wanted something quick and light and ordered one of those awesome gigantic scones. After they had brought my friend and gran's meals (it took a while, but in all fairness it was a Saturday) , I waited for another 5 or so minutes, only for the waitress to tell me there weren't any. I then had to place a new order and only received my new order once everyone else had finished their meals. It did put me off the restaurant in general.

This mugg and bean is great! situated conveniently at the toplevel of the mall by the food court. Lovely setting and nice view if you're sitting outside. The service is great, quick , and waiters are very friendly. The food is always awesome, well prepared, large portions that mugg and bean is well known for. I love the burgers and wraps , usually have something related to that. Or, I'll have muffins or scones , always great to have as well and quite filling.<br/><br/>They just need to continuously check their furniture. e.g the couches I was seated on have become quite raggedy and threads are coming out and the seat parts are quite dirty. Something pricked me while I was sitting there once. But, apart from that all's good. Stick to the wooden chairs and life will be bliss. oh also love their bottomless gingerbeer or lemonade specials.

Had the "Chicken Caesar Salad"... Which in no way resembled a proper Caesar Salad. Very disappointed with the food there

I actually really like this Mugg & Bean. The service is always great and the waiters/waitresses have always been happy and smiling and join in on a joke or two. The food is on par with other Mugg & Bean franchises which is good because I'm a big fan of their food. I really enjoy this restaurant and the Mugg & Bean franchise because you can eat all sorts of meals throughout the day. This restaurant has a nice little outside section (it's closed off but you still feel that you're in separate section which is nice). Overall I've never been disappointed when eating here.

I generally enjoy meals at Mugg & Bean. The food is of quality, the portions are filling and the service is efficient. The Fourways branch has a pretty outdoor seating area, and I think the manager there is especially good. In terms of menu items for vegetarians, there is decent variety (my favourites include the Thai Squash Pie, the Breakfast Stack, and the Portabella Picnic Sarmie). Their best value for money dish is the soup that comes with a Sarmie. It's perfect for winter nights. One small thing I like is that they serve breakfast all day, which is perfect if you're a light eater or simply want something smaller to nibble on. Their American Iced Coffee is very yummy, and I do have to mention their giant muffins, which make a sweet breakfast on the go.<br/><br/>EDIT<br/>Mugg and Bean are great when it comes to updating their menu with new, delicious offerings.  A new favourite of mine is their Mango Fruitblast Yogurt Smoothie - highly recommended.
