Nice and clean and good service. Food was flavorful but fish overcooked. Pizza was good and surf and turf great. Worth popping in just ask for fish to be cooked less

This piatto has a lovely view of Greenstone hill, regardless of day or night. If you prefer night time, it could be very romantic. I always love how the napoletana pasta immerse in linguini taste. The spinach option is also tasty. To be a vegan and are able to find food in a restaurant that accommodate for general public is amazing! I'd highly recommend those who are vegetarian to bring your friends and family to this piatto. It not only has a stunning view but good fulfilling food. Not to be missed!
Haven't had any bad experiences at Piatto, Stoneridge. Their food is always delicious, service - fantastic. I've been here a couple of times and even hosted us for our Year End Luncheon. Great atmosphere.
The Piatto is was clean and we quite liked the decor, but overall impression was not great. The view on the other hand was amazing. The Piatto view of Greenstone is honestly beautiful, but the rest of the restaurant doesn't have a wow factor at all. The coffee wasn't bad and the hot chocolate wasn't mind blowing either; so we wouldn't go for that. But the food wasn't bad, I had a the yogurt and muesli with fruit salad which was nice and healthy, but far to big for even me. The other half of Cookies&Cream enjoyed her meal, but wasn't wow'ed, but we were hungry and this met our needs. But if you looking for a wow meal, I don't recommend Piatto, if you looking for simple and a quick meal, then this is your place.
This place has an amazing view especially in the evening which makes you think you're not in the middle of the city. The food is average but the service more than made up for it. Avoid sitting at any of the tables close to the toilets though because of the smell.
We made a booking for 5 people on the public holiday. When we got there they didn't know about us and nothing had been set up. We wanted to sit outside which required them to put two tables together. My mum asked to sit in the corner and the waiter kept trying to put is in the middle where it is sunny. The food wasn't bad and the service average. Very average restaurant. In a pinch it's fine, but don't make it your first choice.

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, so we agreed to try making at pasta at home and we will be back again if the taste doesn't come close! Chef, you have competition! Chicken strips, feta cheese, zucchini, mushrooms, olives prepared in napoletana sauce💞
Had dinner 500g sirloin on bone R149 and shared 500g pork ribs R159. They made delicious food and the ribs are packed full of meat. Great friendly lady serving us. Definitely worth a visit and loads of exciting specials 😍❤️

Piatto never disappoints with their specials. They always have the best specials, and they never compromise on quality, portions, and taste.
We ordered the ribs and wings special,and the oriental wok.
Both meals SO good, I couldn't help but eat the ribs and wings with my hands. It was enough for two people. We ended up taking the oriental wok home.
The views from the restaurant make the vibe even better.
Overall, great meals, a cute vibe, and friendly waiters.
What a lovely service we got,we got a nice warm welcome by Sypho & we were asked to whether we wanted to sit outside or inside,we opt outside because it was a lovely hot day…both areas were amazing…our waiter NoThabo was just delightful and so hands one… we have been to other Piatto but this one made us change our minds completely… thank you ❣️🫶🏿❣️
They've recently opened after some renovated. I had the steak flatbread which was absolutely yummy. I finished it off with some red velvet cake. The staff were really friendly and attentive. An overall good experience, even as a solo date.

The recent renovations have done this beautiful space so much justice. The staff are very warm and welcoming. The food I have tried has been lovely. My favourite part of all is the insane view!
I must say, I last went to this exact Piatto a couple years back. There’s changes within the property, the atmosphere is still as I remember. Very welcoming, friendly and a sense of humbleness. The food has amazingly kept its quality & flavour. Very consistent 🤞🙏. It’s definitely somewhere to go for a first date if you looking to impress😏🤙💪. Also as a family outing, a birthday celebration, get together with mates. It’s functional too all occasions. Try it! Do it! 👏

Since the revamp, this has easily become a favourite spot. Pricing is very fair for good wholesome and well proportioned dishes. The ambiance and view is spectacular and the service unbeatable.

The food was delicious. Plenty of options to choose from and generous portions.

The live entertainment was welcomed however a bit too loud a times. We had to shout across our table to hear each other. Overall a good night out in a welcoming atmosphere.
