Tom and I visited Saltwater Grill for.the first time despite many varied reports on FB! Our waitron Emmy was very helpful and friendly. She explained the specials to us and the giant prawns were on special. We ordered a seafood platter and requested that they replace the smaller prawns with the giant prawns. We offered to pay extra. The owner Dylan came to our table to advise the extra cost. Service was great and so was our food. We ended off with two coffees. We will certainly be back!
From the start the friendly knowledgeable waitress gave us a sense of good things to come. We were not disappointed. I had the seafood platter which has almost every fish item on the menu. The dish arrived timeously and very well presented. Every bit of seafood was perfectly cooked and butter soft. Chips are chips and rice is rice but even they could not be faulted in the slightest. All in all a perfect evening and a perfect meal with the owner/manager Dylan the perfect attentive host.
Saltwater Grill is the hub of the town for delicious seafood options and wonderful salads. The presentation is always elaborate and wonderful on the eye and the staff (both waiters and kitchen staff) work incredibly hard to bring smiles to the faces of customers. The panna cotta is the best desert on the menu! Absolutely love this place.

We were a table of 13 that booked for a birthday and all our expectations were just superceded.
Service was exceptional- our waiter was attentive, friendly and so on top of things.
Food was delicious.. Absolute perfection and portion size was very generous.

Amazing restaurant, highly recommend the Asian inspired dishes. The sushi was fresh and the ramen bowl was hearty (and good value for money!) Chips and calamari are great too!
Have been to Saltwater Grill on two occasions now and the food and presentation has been absolutely amazing on both occasions. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. Service is fast and waiters are always checking in on you. Made a booking for my fiancés birthday and they really made the evening special. Would highly recommend and keep coming back.
This restaurant is lovely. The atmosphere is a bit cafeteria like but the food was AMAZING. Had the seafood platter for 1, but really, it served two of us. The rice was so delicious, and the sauce that the mussels were in was so good. It was strange that we had three waiters attending to us. I asked who our official waiter was but was told that they worked together and helped each other. I feel like it's not always great to do this. They were mostly friendly and helpful, though. Overall, everything was lovely. The food is definitely the reason for going to this restaurant.
Everything was fantastical! Lunch was awesome . Food was top-notch, and so was the atmosphere and service. Thanks to the waitress Virginia for the great service from the beginning to the end. Deserts were just the touch needed to end off our magical lunch. The vibe was ambient and cozy, and the prawns were to die for. Will definitely come back for more
We had a wonderful time, from the moment we got there to the time we left. Our service professional, Patou, was very patient and helpful and the food was excellent. Our starter hand rolls were some of the best we've had. The fried potato ring in the salad was amazing in both taste and presentation, the calamari was tender and the braised pork belly kakuni was an eye opener. I'd highly recommend a visit, but do be sure to book in advance as it's a very popular place that fills up quickly.
My first time at saltwater grill. Cozy setting with minimalistic decor. Great service and good food.
I opted for the pork ramen. Although not really authentic ramen, it was deliciously rich and packed with flavour. The egg was poached im soy and was delicious. A massive portion of tender and juicy pork and fresh noodles to match.
Overall a great dish for a Winter's evening.
For starters we shared the sushi which was unbelievably fresh and well made. Probably my favourite of the evening.
The fish and chips looked delicious and everyone at the table was happy.

Been meaning to come here for a while and all I can say is it was well worth the wait. Staff is super attentive, food was excellently presented and delicious, atmosphere was lovely and menu offers a massive variety of tantalizing seafood options. Will definitely be coming back to try their poke bowls! Well done on a fabulous place Dylan.
Made a visit for the great looking prawns and was not disappointed. Vincent was a great waiter and did not miss a beat. The beautiful presentation of the food showed that the people in the kitchen really cares. Will definitely be back.

Their food is always great quality, fresh and flavorful. They also have lovely margaritas.
Their seafood platter for 2 is also great value. I'd love if they made some more gluten free dessert options, but other than that, great experience.
Had a great night at Saltwater Grill for my birthday. Sushi was top class and the mains were also very good. We went during loadshedding (by coincidence) so service was a bit slower and some of the items on the menu could not be made due to working on the generator but we still had a very nice evening with friendly service that went the extra mile for my birthday surprise dessert. Keen to go back for some of the more exotic items on the menu.
