The first time I ate there earlier this year the food was very bland and needed extra spices, but I am so glad I gave it a second chance: the cashew nut prawn chow mein (with noodles and extra chilli) was mouthwatering and delicious!

The best value for money in terms of quantity AND quality. I have been craving it again ever since.

Always very catering and friendly. Food is always freshly made every time I go there and the portions are worth the price. Their everyday lunch and dinner set menus are very worth while although you need to be seated to get that. Highly recommended, best Chinese restaurant in Glenwood.

This has to be my favorite Chinese restaurant. Their food is always absolutely amazing and the service is good and quick whether you sit down or take away it's absolutely amazing. I also always get noodles instead of rice. What an amazing restaurant. I love their sweet and sour pork. It's always a lovely one to get. Never ever been disappointed.

I cannot count the times I have dined or ordered takeout from maan hing. Always consistent with good Chinese fusion flavours. My all time favorite dish is the chili peanut chicken with noodles, not rice. I have ordered this countless times and it is always consistently good. From what I know it’s been run by the same owners all along and they do it well. Their spring rolls and sweet and sour prawn and also the sweet and sour pork is really good too.

This place has consistently good quality food and service. I can especially recommend the battered pork medallions. Unfortunately they lost their sit down restaurant after COVID which I really miss. The atmosphere was very quaint and charming and the sit down service was exceptional.

Maan Hing has been a staple since I moved to Glenwood 10 years ago. The food is consistently good, the spring rolls are delicious and the portions are nice and big. Its nothing fancy! But when you leave the office late and need a good dinner this is the spot.

Best Chinese takeaway 😋. Have been going to Maan Hing since I was a little girl. It was a family tradition to celebrate our birthdays at Maan Hing until they closed the rmsit down option last year. But all is well as their food has not changed. Delicious food at reasonable rates. Service and friendliness is the same.

portion was huuuge, I had my next three meals sorted. Over the years the quality and quantity remains the same, I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein, wonderful dish. The lady was very polite and sweet, I'll be happy to order from here again.

Service is always friendly, fast and more than generous helping wise. Pity business has slowed down to the extent that the store had to downsize and the restaurant does not operate anymore. Used to enjoy using the restaurant when it was still operating.

Absolutely LOVE Maan Hing. Prices are affordable and portions are huge. We always get the chicken cashew nut dish as there are always actually cashew nuts in it (unlike some other restaurants!). Miss sitting down at the restaurant, but it's understandable given the time we are living in. Also enjoy ordering their chicken chow mein and sweet and sour chicken.

Best Chinese Food in Durban... their BBQ Pork spring rolls are delicious... cannot NOT buy one when ordering their Beef Chow Mein. Just one portion of the Chow Mein feeds me and my wife ;) and, and their sweet n sour sauce is yum yum. My rating remains
